Charlotte didn't like living in her and Bruno's little house without Bruno around. It felt so empty, especially because she knew he'd gotten everything in the house specially for her. But she supported him going to rehab. He'd cheated on her because of his addiction. He needed it. And Elodie had come by a couple of times to keep her company, plus there were her classes, but she still came home to am empty house.

The first day Bruno was allowed visitors at the hospital, Charlotte was there. She and her grandmother had baked him a bunch of sweets. She'd bought him a DVD of Cinderella in case he got bored. She'd found a bunch of pictures of them growing up at her Dad's place to bring in to give to him. A nurse led Charlotte to a run-down lounge where some crazy lady was chewing on things and a tattooed man who, weirdly, looked a lot like Jaden's dad, was occupying the television and waited for the nurse to tell Bruno he had a visitor.

Bruno had waited for the day when Charlotte would be able to visit him. He was mostly alone, other than his uncle Rooney, whom he didn't like very much anyway. When the nurse came to tell him he had a visitor, he grinned and walked down the hall as fast as he could.

He waved to Rooney as he passed and then smiled at Charlotte, wrapping his arms around her. "I miss you so much." He told her, holding her close.

Charlotte squealed when Bruno came into the room, wrapping her arms around Bruno's neck and holding him tightly. "I miss you too," she said, kissing his cheek. "I brought you a bunch of presents."

She pulled back a little, smiling up at him. "I'm going to stay until they kick me out. I don't want to leave you. But." Charlotte squirmed out of Bruno's arm so she could open her purse, pulling out her beaten up, old stuffed unicorn. "Look who I brought to stay with you. Persephone helped me so much when I was away at school. I thought you might like having Crystal Diamond to keep you company."

"Oh my god. You brought me Crystal." Bruno snatched the doll away from her with a laugh and held her close to his chest instead. "You always knew she was my one true love. Right?"

He grinned at her and leaned in, pressing their lips together. "God. I miss you so much. You have no idea."

Charlotte laughed against Bruno's mouth. "I miss you too," she said. "I sit in our house and spend my time missing you, but I'm glad you're getting help, Bruno. If this is what you need, then I'm okay with having to be without you for a while."

She kissed him again and beamed up at him. "I have more presents for you. Are we allowed to go to your room to talk, or do we have to stay out here? I don't want to get you in trouble."

"We can go to my room, but we have to keep the door open. Sex addict and all that." Bruno smiled at her as he slid his hand into hers, pulling her towards his room. "That's Rooney. He's my uncle or whatever." He told her. "Radley's brother."

He pulled her into his room and sat on his bed. "What else did you bring me? I don't have anything for you."

Charlotte glanced at Bruno's uncle as they walked past him. "He's scarier looking than Radley," she said. "The Lucys are the ones that scare me in Jaden's family. I didn't know you had another uncle. Is he nice?"

She sat beside Bruno on the bed and sat the bag down between them. "Bruno, you decorated a whole house for me. I don't need anything else. I brought you some pictures of us as kids because I thought they wouldn't be able to say they were wanking material or anything and take them from you. And a dvd of Cinderella and grandmum and I baked biscuits."

"Fuck no, he's not nice." Bruno laughed at that. "He's a complete dick. He's been in and out of this place since his kid was born. He's Thoreau Lestrange's boyfriend or whatever. He comes and visits him sometimes."

Bruno smiled at her. "You're perfect." He told her, then kissed hers softly. "You brought me everything that I need and I love you. I can't wait until I'm better and I can be with you again."

"The guy who owns all the restaurants and clubs? Weird," Charlotte said, glancing over her shoulder, out into the hall. "I guess the heart wants what the heart wants. It was bad enough that my mum was still working on her eating disorder outside the hospital when I was little. I can't imagine having to deal with her going in for it all the time. You'd always be getting your hopes up and then being disappointed."

She kissed Bruno back, sliding her hand into his. "I love you too. When you come out again we'll throw a bit party for you and invite everybody. Do you want all the gossip? I've been hanging out with Elodie and Xavier and spending a lot of time on Facebook when I'm not in classes, so I'm well-informed."

"Yeah. I wouldn't want to live like that either." Bruno told her, shaking his head. "But, I'm going to get better and we won't have to worry about me coming back. I'll get better for you and everything will be fine."

He brushed their lips together gently and smiled at her. "Of course I want all the gossip. Are you crazy?"

"Get better for you too, Bruno. My dad always said Mum had to want to get better for her before she could get better for us. I mean, before the divorce." If the door was open, cuddling was fine, right? Charlotte settled against Bruno's side.

"Okay, the gossip. Xavier and Cepheus broke up, right? And Cepheus moved in with Albus's brother, and he and James were supposed to be a thing or something, but Cepheus moved out. And Albus and Scorpius broke up and I think Albus might be with Kit again. Can you believe it? They didn't even make it a month. Xavier is dating his old friend Caspar. Jude is maybe dating Cepheus and Scorpius's little sister with the boobs, and the other little sister is maybe dating the porn star that Scorpius hooked up with."

"I do want to get better for me. But, you're more important to me than I am to myself." Bruno admitted as he held onto her hand and let out a sigh. "I want to get better for you because you deserve it. I want to have my life with you."

"All of that?" Bruno stared at her and laughed softly. "Fuck. That's just... I feel bad for Albus and Scorpius. But, since when does Cepheus even like James? I feel like I'm missing everything."

"We're going to have out life together," Charlotte promised Bruno, kissing his cheek and squeezing Bruno's hand. "No part of me has ever once doubted it since we got together. We're meant to be. We're fate."

She shrugged. "I'm hearing it all second and third hand, so I'm not sure if it's completely accurate, but... yeah. It's all complicated. Cepheus must like James. He moved in with him for a bit. They were all over the blogs and the papers and -- oh, you missed the video of them groping each other in the lift. Yeah, Cepheus had a little bit where he was okay with James."

"Man. I get put in here for my own good and everyone else seems to fuck up." Bruno laughed as he looked at her, then glanced at the television in his room. He got up and put Cinderella in the player and turned it on, then walked back over to his bed.

He lay down and pulled her down beside him, cuddling against her. "Tell me more about you."

Charlotte smiled at Bruno, snuggling up against him. "I'm boring," she said, shaking her head. "I haven't done anything scandalous. I like my classes so far. They're all massive though. I guess first year classes usually are."

She kissed Bruno's cheek. "Elodie's been coming over before work to keep me company. I've been thinking of looking for a part-time job. I have a handle on my homework. I could just work in a shop a couple evenings a week or something, you know?"

"But, you don't need to work. I have everything covered for you already." Bruno shook his head and pressed closer to her. "You could take a dance class or singing lessons. Something better to occupy your time with. You don't have to work."

Bruno closed his eyes, feeling himself getting turned on. "I'm sorry if I get hard laying beside you. I can't help it. You know, you're a lot more beautiful than Cinderella."

"I know I don't need to work, but it would be nice. Maybe I could get a job in a cafe. I'd get free coffee and pastries that way." Charlotte smiled and kissed Bruno's neck. "Maybe I'll look at the clubs at school and see if there's something I could join."

She glanced between their bodies and laughed a little. "I'm glad you think I'm beautiful," Charlotte said, kissing Bruno softly. "Are you allowed? Should we go back into the common room or walk around for a bit?"

"If it's what you want, that's fine." Bruno sighed softly. "I just don't want you to think that you have to work. That's all." He kissed her nose, then glanced between them as well.

"It's fine. I can't do anything about it." He explained, shrugging. "But, I can't get in trouble for getting an erection."

Charlotte nodded, looking away from Bruno's erection. "I'm not going to try and tempt you away from the work you're doing here. I'm really glad you're brave enough to get help, Bruno."

She smiled, reaching up and petting at his hair. "How long do you think it'll be before you get to leave?"

"Six weeks at the most." Bruno told her. "They're monitoring my behaviour and progress. Thankfully my Dad got me a therapist that isn't that Snape bloke my Mum hated."

He nuzzled his nose in her hair. "It's hard to sleep at night. They keep checking on me."

"When you get home, you'll be able to sleep all you want. I'll bring you breakfast in bed and we can just stay there and watch movies and do whatever until you decide you want to leave. It's lonely without you." Charlotte smiled, kissing Bruno's chest.

"I'll talk to my dad about the checks, maybe. He's hospital administrator. Maybe they could only do your room every other time," Charlotte said. "You're not as bad as some of the people here."

"Do you think he can actually do anything about it?" Bruno asked as he looked her over. "I mean, I have my own room. It's not like I can shag someone in here."

She grinned, kissing him softly. "I want you to get better. I'm not going to make you do anything you're not supposed to. I'm a good girl."

He kissed her neck softly and glanced at the television. "You're never going to find your prince if you stick with me."

She looked at Cinderella again and smiled. "Don't be silly. You're my prince. I'm not going to let you go."

"No one in this room is a prince." Rooney informed the girl as he leaned against the door frame, lighting a fag. He looked at the two of them and shook his head, rolling his eyes to himself. "Should the two of you be dry humping like that?"

Bruno sighed softly and pulled back. "No. Probably not. You going to tell?"

Charlotte didn't really think it counted as dry humping, but they were close. She pouted at Bruno a bit, then sat up properly so they looked less tangled up in each other. "Bruno is a prince," she told his uncle, running her fingers through Bruno's hair again.

She smiled down at her boyfriend for a moment, then looked at Rooney again. "I'm Charlotte, Bruno's girlfriend. Please don't tell, Sir."

"Why would I tell? Do I look like a fucking narc?" Rooney asked as he looked the girl over and frowned. "I'm getting out of here again in a few days anyway. Going to go home and see my son. Haven't seen him this year. I've been stuck here and he's busy. I'm Rooney."

"Your son is a porn star. Of course he's busy." Bruno pointed out and then kissed Charlotte's neck.

"Bruno told me a bit about you. That you're Radley's brother. We know your nephew, Jaden." Maybe Rooney was only scary because Charlotte was used to Rider. Maybe. But it seemed unlikely. Bruno had said he wasn't nice, and even if Rider wasn't strictly nice, he was still always a good dad to Xavier and a good uncle to Bruno. He'd babysat them a million times when they were kids.

Charlotte glanced down at Bruno, smiling when he kissed her neck. "First Scorpius and Lavinia start sharing a porn star, now you're related to one? It's a small world."

"That's his kid." Bruno told her in a quiet voice. "He's with Thoreau Lestrange. They're like.. husbands or something. I don't know." He told her, shrugging.

"I can hear you talking." Rooney rolled his eyes. "They're doing room checks. The two of you should be careful." He walked away.

Charlotte looked up when Rooney walked away, then pulled further apart from Bruno. "I don't want you to get in trouble when they come in here to check on us." She picked up the biscuit tin and placed it between them. "I am a good girl."

Charlotte pulled off the lid and stole one, taking a bite of it. "I can't imagine having a baby I didn't get to see for a whole year."

"Maybe I'll go see your mum and talk to her about it. Do you think that would be okay?" Charlotte asked, reaching out to pet her boyfriend some more. "I'd be able to let her know that nobody thinks she's responsible for you having a sex addiction but her."

She smiled at him. "You'll be out of here before you know it and I'll make sure we eat all your favourite foods. We'll have a party."
