Caspar wasn't sure how to feel about what had happened. He'd gotten the lead in a musical at school, but that wasn't even the biggest part. The biggest part was that he'd been scouted by another school. An American school, which meant packing up and moving to New York. And it was an amazing opportunity. He just... had to explain it to Xavier. Anna would kill him if he didn't accept.

He took a deep breath and tried to calm down as he waited outside his door. Once he'd composed himself, he reached up and knocked.

Xavier wasn't expecting anyone, which meant it was either Elodie or Caspar. He smiled as he walked to the door and pulled it open, looking down at his boyfriend. "Hey," he said, leaning in and stealing a kiss from him. "Come in. I should just get you a key so you don't have to knock."

He walked away from the door. "I'm just eating lunch. You want me to make you something?"

	"No. That's okay." Caspar told him as he walked into the flat and took a look around. He chewed at his bottom lip for a moment and walked further in. "I already ate lunch before I got here." 	Xavier didn't like that look. It was too similar to the way Cepheus had looked at him when he'd first slept with James Potter. He sat at the table, frowning a little. "Okay." 	"It's a pretty serious conversation." Caspar took a seat beside him, but gave him a small smile as he slipped his hand into his. He leaned in and brushed their lips together, noting the nervous look on Xavier's face. "Don't worry. I didn't sleep with anyone else." Caspar promised him. "Oh," Xavier said, blinking at Caspar as he processed that. It was kind of awful for him. For them. It definitely meant that they were heading towards a break-up, but Xavier loved Caspar enough to be happy for him.

He smiled, leaning in and kissing him softly. "Congratulations, Cas," he said, running his fingers through the other boy's hair. "You're an amazing performer. You deserve it."

"That doesn't meant that it doesn't suck too," Xavier promised Caspar when he wilted in front of him, reaching out and touching his cheek. He leaned in, brushing their lips together. "I love you, Cas. I don't want you to leave, but I want to be the boyfriend who's happy for you when something like this happens. Something amazing."

He brushed his lips against Caspar's gently. "I don't want to break up, okay? We can try and handle a long-distance thing, right? How soon do they want you there? Do I at least get to keep you close until next September?"

He had just got Xavier back not long ago and now he had to leave and Xavier didn't even think about wanting to come with him. He pulled away and stood up. "I should just leave." 	"You are definitely an idiot." Caspar agreed as he looked back at Xavier, squirming in his lap a bit. He sighed softly and leaned in, kissing Xavier softly, pressing their foreheads together. "It is, but I've been waiting for you for forever," Xavier said, smiling at Caspar. "I don't want to let you go that easily. And if I come with you, I might be able to get work doing hair and makeup for the theatre circuit."

He kissed Caspar again, smiling at him. "You're sure this is what you want?" Xavier asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "I'm sure there will a lot of hot guys in New York."

Xavier laughed. "I hope she doesn't tackle me. I don't know which one of us would be more traumatized by her having my hard on pressed into her stomach." He got off the bed, walking to the door and pulling it open. "Hello, Ana."

"Where is he?" Ana asked, pushing past Xavier and looking around the room. She smiled when she spotted Caspar through the open bedroom door, bouncing over and tackling him onto the bed. "You're going to New York!"

	Caspar had thought that Xavier would at least be able to hold her off until he could get up, but that was not happening. He looked at Ana, who had tackled him as expected, and laughed softly. "Yes. Insanely jealous," Ana said firmly. "You're going to be prancing around Broadway, impressing everyone, and I'm going to be in the West End which is nice, but not Broadway nice, you know?" She kissed Caspar's forehead and then pulled back.

"We should go out karaoke-ing. Did you hear a Freshman got two leading roles? That's just greedy. I've never even heard of Albus Potter, have you?" Ana asked, tossing her hair.

"I could," Ana agreed. "After I play opposite you in the most amazing musical ever. It's going to be the absolute best." She grinned, kissing Caspar's forehead. "I need to parade around and show myself off a bit here before I settle down in New York."

Xavier was glad Caspar's best friend didn't resent his success, but there were other things that show be addresses. "Albus is your competition at school? Seriously?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "He's best friends with Cepheus."

"Cepheus is the ex, right?" Ana asked, waiting for Xavier to nod. "Well, maybe the ex has moved on with Albus Potter because I was there looking at the cast lists when Mr. Special showed up and he had some blond in designer clothing all over him."

"Probably Scorpius," Xavier said, shrugging. "Cepheus's twin brother. Cepheus is engaged to James Potter, the footballer. Also Albus's older brother. They're all over the gossip magazines."

	"Ana and I try to refrain from reading gossip about non-celebrities." Caspar pointed out as he looked at Xavier. "We're more into reading reviews about shows and gossip about actors." Xavier snorted at that. "As long as their kids don't get together, they'll be fine," he said, shaking his head. "I guess it's a bit odd, but there was a lot of behind-the-scenes drama involved in any of it coming together. I'm kind of surprised Albus and Scorpius are together again, actually. The last time I heard anything about them, they'd split up and Albus had gone back to his ex of two years after spending two weeks with Scorpius."

"Maybe it wasn't him I saw, then," Ana said, shrugging. "I don't know the Malfoys on sight. Like Caspar said, we follow people with talent."

Xavier looked through the magazines on his bedside table, pulling out a copy of Vogue and flipping through it until he found an ad with Scorpius in it. He handed Ana the magazine. "That's Scorpius."

"Well, no wonder he was hanging off of Albus," Ana said, shaking her head. "Models. They always need someone else to hold them upright because they never eat."

"I haven't spoken to him much since Phe and I broke up, but yeah. I think we're friends. That doesn't mean you can't make fun of him," Xavier said, smiling and sitting on the bed next to Caspar, wrapping an arm around the other boy's shoulders and kissing him softly. "I love your body. Scorpius modeled in New York for a while. Maybe I'll ask him for some tips."

Ana looked up from examining Scorpius in the magazine, raising an eyebrow. "Are you going to New York too?" she asked. "You two are moving in together?"

"It'll be fun," Xavier agreed, smiling at Caspar and leaning down to kiss him again. "And by the time we're out there, it won't even seem like we're moving in quickly or anything. It'll be good."

"Well, now I'm jealous. Maybe I should go to New York, even if I didn't get a full scholarship like you did." Ana bumped him with her shoulder. "I'm amazing. If I auditioned, I'm sure I'd at least get accepted."

Ana preened under Caspar's praise, leaning into his touch. "As long as the two of you aren't too loud, I think I could handle that," she said. She kissed Caspar's cheek, and then looked at Xavier, raising an eyebrow at him. "Got a problem with that?"

Xavier shook his head. "I'm not going to be the one who tries to get between the two of you," he said. "I'm not that stupid. I have an Ana of my own. Her name is Elodie."
