Pyxis was his best friend and Rooney wasn't even really his boyfriend, but Rooney also hadn't stopped talking to him for a while because he'd started fucking their therapist. He looked at Pyxis for a moment, then pulled away. "I'm sorry," he told her.
He walked over to Rooney. "We're friends," he said. "She's not just a cunt."
