Luka thought the whining was cute. He smiled at Pansy and kissed her forehead. "I miss you too," he told her. "You being on this floor means you're getting better. Don't worry. It's already Halloween. Before you know it, you'll be out."
He looked around for a moment, then pulled Pansy into his lap. "Stop trying to convince people and start trying to do it for yourself," Luka said. "It's a long process, but you've made great progress so far."
