As Augusta slowed ahead of him, Geoffrey slowed as well, waiting for her answer. And then...if it was the right one, he could...

Geoff's thoughts were cut short as Augusta swayed, and then tumbled back into him. He automatically caught her around the waist, frantically changing his footing in order to regain his balance. But his own safety was hardly worrying at the moment. After he was certain he wouldn't fall, Geoffrey carefully slid to sit on the step, taking Augusta with him, convinced that she, at least, should not be standing.

"Auggie! Auggie, are you alright? Did you faint, or...?" Without even realizing what he was calling her, Geoffrey looked down at his armful of Gryffindor, rather worried, his glasses sliding down his nose.
