It hadn't quite occured to Geoffrey that they were breaking the rules. He was more worried, honestly, about Augusta being worried over her brooch, and about possibly, hopefully asking Augusta if he might...well, it was just quite a lot to think about, as far as Geoffrey was concerned, so he wasn't quite thinking about the logistics of the thing. So he had managed to make it all the was down from the Ravenclaw tower and across the school to the portrait of the Fat Lady (he'd met Augusta there before) before the thought occured to him.
By that time, however, Augusta was in sight, and any reservations he might have had were gone as if they never were. At least he was out of uniform, it being the weekend - sneaking into the Gryffindor commons in Ravenclaw colours was hardly the brightest idea.
"Augusta!" Geoffrey lit up as usual, although he was carefully quiet, as it would hardly do to get the girl he admired most into trouble for his sake. "It's lucky I was wearing my red jumper today." His red jumper with large purple print of what might have been flowers. Geoffrey wasn't very hard to miss. He shoved his glasses further up his nose as he stopped, smiling in a rather large and silly manner.
