"Geoffrey!" replied Augusta when she saw him, instantly straightening up against the wall and rushing out to meet him, even though the boy was coming her way in the first place. He was wearing a red jumper, which, truthfully, was quite a lovely colour on him, and despite herself Augusta smiled. The green skirt she was wearing billowed around her knees, and together she felt they looked like Christmas. Which was always a pleasant time. "You look charming," she said casually as she stopped before him, unsure of whether she wanted to actually touch him or whether that would be wrong of her. She decided not to, and instead fell in step beside him.
With exasperation, she said, "It's absolute rubbish. I just got the thing and now it's missing. And.." she hesitated, biting on her lower lip and then deciding to just say it anyway, "and you're good at charmwork, so I figured you could help. If you wanted to." Of course he did, he had showed up. "Which, obviously, you do, of course."
Just stop. Just stop now.
