if you guys were at any of the other pb places you should know by now that alex is my life and i can't stop playing him SO here he is again. this is alex collisten and he is one of the few seniors that don't really participate much in many activites with his school at all. he's only in drama club this year because he lost a bet with one of his friends and so the loser had to join the drama club and attempt to be in somewhat of a play. he doesn't like drama club too much but, it's growing on him. alex was born in london, england and dreams to go back there once he graduates high school. he came to west high his freshman year in the winter and has been attending the high school since. personality wise, alex can be somewhat cold to people because he doesn't want to grow close to a lot of people since he plans on leaving everyone once school ends but there will be those few that he'll love no matter what. he is goofy and yet extremely shy at the same time. he drinks a lot along with smoking pot which sometimes causes him to miss class a couple times but he manages. alex plays guitar but doesn't ever dream of wanting to be a "rockstar" or anywhere famous so he doesn't bother to get a band together or anything but instead likes to play it when ever he's bored or just stressed out.

as storylines go, i need everything. best friends, enemies, ex girlfriends, maybe even a guy he experimented with when he was drunk, anything. so just comment and we can figure something out if so

well, i would definitely love to have something. athina has the same basic personality where she's goofy and fun but can tend to be shy but that's usually around guys that she likes. i imagine she might have been one of the nicest people to him when he first started school at whs, so they could be friends based on that. and she might have thought he was attractive at one point and actually did like him but maybe she never let him know because she knew he was just planning on going back to london when he could. i don't know i'm just trying to come up with something before i leave for work :-[

	no that works! she could have been perhaps one of the first people that helped him around the school or something and then it lead to them hanging out and maybe he still has somewhat of an attraction to her as well and he thinks it'll just go away or something so he doesn't pay any attention to it too much or something (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

i honestly see them both being overly judgmental about anybody the other person dated, mostly based on jealousy since there's the attraction that was never given a chance. and i could see them hanging out and having those weird/awkward moments where they could sense the attraction between each other if they were doing homework together or eating out at some restaurant and joking about the waiter/waitress assuming they were a couple. so they have all the tension of liking one another but, they both just assume it's nothing to dwell on so they get bitter when the other one dates.

	i love it. alex would probably start acting cold to her if she was dating someone since he's not going to admit anything to her so i think that will be fun to play out. if anything he'd probably just start drinking more and it would cause even more tension but i love the idea very much (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

just imagine the bitterness that would occur if one went to a big social event, like prom or homecoming, without the other as a date and the tension that would come from that alone. i could see him sitting, drinking, and seething mad about it. where i could see her trying to get close enough to him on the dance floor where she kisses her date right in front of him to try and make him jealous. :-[

i am personally shooting for letter b because i can imagine it, and then i can imagine if it happened at her house. and one of her parents came home and were just coming in to say hi to athina and her room looks like hurricane ike came through and damaged everything, and there they are sitting amongst the debris with their school books trying to play it cool like .2 seconds before the door opened they weren't about to have sex on the floor...

	this is going to be really fun to play with, i am so excited. because i also seeing both of them trying to convince themselves it's for the best that it doesn't go further than what it did because he's going to be leaving soon and it "just wouldn't have worked out". even though they both really want the chance to be with each other. i don't have really anything positive with any guys yet, so maybe they're buddies. they have a lot in common with the whole not-so-high-school-social thing. rhett avoids most activities like the plague and doesn't have a whole lot of friends, mostly due to the fact that he doesn't let anyone get close to him either. but i'm not sure how they'd work because i know

gwendolyn is alex's best friend(?) and rhett and gwen aren't really that tight at this very moment.

	i can still see them working despite rhett and gwen not getting along. alex will probably be good friends with him and maybe even help rhett and gwen sometimes if they're arguing with one another or something? because i can definitely see these two as being friends nonetheless.
