born & raised, her family's mormon and pretty religious but chelsy decided she didn't buy into the whole thing when she was about thirteen and when she was about fifteen her parents kind of got over it. now they try and be supportive, so they'd probably love meredith so long as she didn't yell "woohoo gays" in front of them or something.
