Elijah nodded his head. Shay was right, Agent Montgomery had sounded on the edge of complete fury. He closed his eyes and leaned against Shay even more, thinking of their last night with Adam. He'd been so angry with them, Elijah could tell.
"Are you sure that you're Mom will like me?" he asked, "What if she doesn't want me to stay with you?"
