Liam was well aware of what Adam did with his victims. He was not holding out the hope that Reagan had avoided some very bad experiences, some of them sexual. When he started undressing Reagan, he had in the back of his mind that he might need to stop. When he saw that Reagan was getting worked up, he didn't read it as fear, but he needed to be sure. "Is this okay?" he asked as he captured his husband's gaze.
His fingers stopped working and he reached into his pocket. "Yes, did you leave it in the medicine cabinet on purpose or did he hide it from you there?"
