When Liam came across a fading bruise, he ghosted the pad of his thumb against it. "I bought a bottle of scotch," he said. He'd been sober long enough that Reagan had never really seen him struggle with it all that much. But a month into Reagan's disappearance and Liam understood what they meant when they said 'once and alcoholic, always an alcoholic.' "I didn't open it." But he hadn't gotten rid of it either.
He rinsed Reagan's skin, soap suds dripping down the man's body. Next, was Reagan's hair, and Liam gently tipped his head back to get it wet before combing his shampoo covered fingers over his scalp.
