"Oh really?" Jude asked with a grin as he took Beckett's plate away from him to rinse it off, too. "I think I'm getting the better end of that deal, just so you know."
He continued with cleaning up, which didn't take very long, and when he was done he washed his hands and dried them off before he went over to slip his arms around Beckett's waist.
"Pay up," he said softly as he leaned in for a kiss.
