Micah was lazing about his apartment, drinking a glass of wine while he read Parker Reigh's book. He was laying on his red suede couch with a pair of slacks and thin white t-shirt on as mellow music played softly. His place was neat, but not crazily immaculate. It had a laid back vibe, very much how Micah was laid back. The floors were black hardwood, and he had black and white photography pieces on the wall.

He was waiting for Wyatt to come over. Wyatt had dinner plans with Mick, which Micah foud adorable cute, but he'd agreed to come over to Micah's afterward when Micah invited him over. Parker's book was good, more than good, but Micah was anxious for Wyatt to arrive.

Heading to Micah's place, Wyatt found himself nervous--more nervous than was his usual state when confronting social situations. He was comfortable around the other man, but somehow that made him even more anxious. It was a complete contradiction that he'd yet to figure out, but was eager to experience more.

He'd stopped at the grocery store to pick up some ice cream for dessert and he stood at Micah's door holding onto the carton, feeling a shiver run through him that wasn't from the cold ice cream.

When Micah heard the knock, he tipped his head back to peer at the door before he got to his feet and put his book on the coffee table. He has his glasses on, but didn't bother with taking them off as he headed for the door to pull it open. He smiled as his gaze fell upon Wyatt and the icecream.

"You brought me dessert?" he said with a smile as he leaned against the doorframe. "I thought you were dessert."

"The practice of cannibalism is steeped in cultural slander. Anthropologists have discovered that most reports of it were fabricated. But it wasn't all myth and most cultures did it relation to war rituals." Not surprisingly, Wyatt had plenty of facts about what he knew was intended as a quip. It didn't matter, he had to share. "Oddly," he noted, "the idea of you consuming me isn't as disturbing as it probably should be."

He stepped inside and looked around. The decor was as he expected and it comforted him to think that Micah portrayed himself so accurately.

	Micah quirked a brow and looked a little amused as Wyatt went off on his tangent. He stepped aside and let the younger man in before he closed the door behind him and reached over to snag a hold of Wyatt's hand. He tugged him forward and dipped his head down to press a kiss to Wyatt's mouth as his free hand came up to cup the side of his face. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Wyatt's words dropped away from him easily under the attention of Micah's mouth. He was convinced he could find God in that mouth if he existed. Nearly dropping the ice cream, he kissed back, finding the rhythm of the moment in his own heartbeat. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Micah loved rendering Wyatt speechless, especially in this way. He slipped an arm around the smaller man's waist and drew him up on his toes to deepen the kiss, allowing it to last for a few moments before he gently broke it. "Hi," he said with a soft grin. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He stared for a few moments. "Hello," he replied finally. The feel of Micah against him was always so very distracting but the bite of the frozen carton in his hand brought him back to his senses. "Have you eaten? Are you hungry?" He leaned back a little. "It's rocky road. Created in 1929 after the Black Thursday stock market crash...that's where it gets its name." 	"I made myself some dinner, but there's always room for dessert," Micah said as he hooked his hand into Wyatt's so that he could lead him into the kitchen. "If we were still talking about having me for dessert, I'd pass on my own bowl. There's something very disturbing about having myself in a bowl." It was equally likely that Wyatt was joking as it was that he was seriously ruminating over the possibility. "But since we're talking about Rocky Road, I'd like my own bowl," he smiled then and stood on his tiptoes so he could see over Micah's shoulder as he tugged down a bowl.

	Micah couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, and he turned his head to brush a barely there kiss against Wyatt's jaw before he pulled down another bowl and handed it over. "I'm not sure that I ever do." He didn't know what he'd done to make Micah say that, but he liked that the man had said it. He liked the fondness in Micah's voice when he spoke to him. It was full of not only admiration, but acceptance. Most of the people in Wyatt's life thought he was brilliant, but they also thought he was bizarre (which was true). It was nice to finally meet someone who took all of his weirdness and really appreciated that as part of him.

Struck with the overwhelming urge to kiss Micah again, he indulged and leaned forward, kissing him rather hard. It was more like an awkward collision at first, but it melted into a heated little kiss before it was through.

	Micah wasn't at all prepared for that little move, but he enjoyed it, even if it was awkward at first. It easily shifted from awkward to intense, and Micah was always all for intense. Full of stops and starts, Wyatt pulled back mid-way through it to suck in a breath. When he set his mind to it, he was good at controlling his emotions, especially when he allowed himself little outbursts like that last one. He straightened and licked his bottom lip to gather the lingering flavor of Micah like so much data.

"George Washington is said to have consumed enormous quantities of strawberry ice cream. I've never been a fan of the fruit mixes myself. Something about the tart mixed with the sweet--" he chewed on his lip, reaching for the ice cream scoop so that he could dish it up.

"You're a tease," Micah said with an amused laugh as he handed the ice cream scoop over.

He turned to open up the ice cream and waited for Wyatt to dish some out as he went to get two spoons for them. He was anxious to do a lot of dirty things with Wyatt, and ice cream was only giving him even more ideas.

"How was dinner with Mick?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder at the other man with a smile.

"Unintentionally," he noted but could understand why Micah would call him that. To be honest, he kind of liked the idea that he could lure Micah forward and then dance away. It gave him a little bit of power over the man who seemed to have so much power over him.

If Wyatt knew half the things Micah was thinking, he might have died from shock, but he would have died happy. "Dinner was nice. She teases me relentlessly, but I've grown to crave it. I have to admit I like the attention."

	Micah finally plucked his glasses off of his nose and folded them up to put them on the counter as he took one of the bowls from Wyatt and spooned a bit of ice cream up for a bite. "Everything," he smiled a little. "You mostly though. No one's ever made me act like you do." As if on cue, Wyatt was distracted by Micah's tongue and the way it glided along his plush bottom lip. He took a bite of ice cream without his eyes ever leaving that spot until he realized he was staring and he glanced guiltily back up at Micah's eyes.

"I brought my toothbrush," he said randomly, just to inform Micah that he had one with him.

He took another bite of ice cream and stepped forward when Wyatt said he'd brought a toothbrush, and he smiled as he leaned in to steal a quick kiss from the other man's mouth. "You make me act like I'm completely infatuated with you and all I can think about is you. Which s quite accurate so I don't know why anyone would be surprised that I act that way."

Micah tasted like chocolate and Wyatt couldn't help but make the kiss last just a little longer, chasing Micah back before he could pull away completely. "I'd like to spend the night, yes. Is that--am I being too forward?" The very thought that Wyatt could be too forward was pretty preposterous, unless he stumbled over it without meaning to do so.

"You are definitely not being too forward," Micah smiled. "You can borrow some of my pajamas."

If a need for pajamas arose. It was difficult for Micah to not think of very many sexual ideas at the thought of spending the night in bed with Wyatt, but he knew that Wyatt was different than anyone else he'd ever been with. Wyatt was very inexperienced, but that was one of the things Micah liked about him the most for some reason.

What Wyatt may have lacked in experience, he made up for in curiosity. If things went that way, Wyatt was looking forward to learning--that was, of course, assuming he had the mental capacity to learn while such things were happening.

"I was--I was hoping that I wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight." He couldn't believe that he was saying these things and he squeezed his eyes shut for a moment. He didn't do innuendo very well, and each word sounded painfully awkward coming from his mouth. But Mick had told him to be sure that he let Micah know that he wanted it, was interested in it. No one liked to do all of the work in a sexual relationship, and Wyatt wanted Micah to understand that he was ready.

	Micah put his bowl of ice cream down and stepped forward to press a kiss to Wyatt's mouth. One of his hands moved to rest against the younger man's waist as he pulled back to look at his face. 	"Caffiene is a good way to keep people from falling asleep," he noted kindly. Even though Wyatt was well aware of what Micah meant, but he felt compelled to tell him that. 	Wyatt ate a little faster, eager to move forward. Micah's presence always had that affect on him and now it waz really going to happen--at least he assumed it would. Finishing his ice cream, he pit the bowl in the sink and started to rinse it off. His body was tense, expectant of what might be on the way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
