Having spent the last three hours of his day searching for the Banks case files, Cooper had come up empty handed. Wyatt, innocent, honest, all-knowing Wyatt, however, was somehow unable to avoid telling Cooper that Chancellor had taken them to his hotel. He'd also somehow managed to tell him where the man was staying. At about eight, Cooper found himself knocking at Chancellor's door.
Not surprisingly, Cooper was still wearing his jacket and tie. But his hair was a little mussed. He was looking down at his PDA when the door swung open and he didn't bother to look up right away. "I need to review all of those files, Agent Connelly. Since they're all here, I guess I'll have--" he looked up and his words stopped. "You don't have a shirt on."
"No, I do not. Your powers of observation are astute, Comfort." He leaned against the door jam and folded his arms over his chest. Chancellor's hair was wild and curly because he hadn't done anything with it out of the shower, but he was clean shaven for once. "What were you saying? You guess you'll have to what?"
Shoving his phone in his pocket, he rubbed his hand against the back of his neck. "I'll have to review them here." He finished his previous thought, dropping his eyes down to Chancellor's feet. "The sooner I can get through those files, the sooner I can be out of your hair. I'm well aware that my presence is making Agent Montgomery even more tense. I'm not unaware of the fact that he's had a difficult time."
"Right." He moved back out of the way and he walked over to sit down at the desk in the room. "You may review the files but do not mess anything up. These are in order, and I want them the way they are. Shut the door."
"So this is your way of getting around the case being closed. I should have known you couldn't let it go." Part of his tone was derogatory, but part of it had a bit of admiration there too. He came into the room and scanned its contents. Meticulous in its own disasterous way. Cooper found that he could understand its madness, the organization shimmering through to him. "Your system is pretty much everything I thought it would be."
"Don't mess it up." Chancellor took a drink of the water on his desk and he looked over at Cooper. "No, I am not going to let this case go. I will solve it or I will die trying." Same as all the cases he had ever worked that he hadn't been able to solve. They were all on his laptop.
Cooper was actively trying to avoid looking at Chancellor. He was really, really handsome. When he read his papers in school, he hadn't begun to imagine that the man behind them was this attractive. After seeing his picture, he still hadn't quite realized that his energy would be so infuriatingly attractive. God this was pissing him off. "For Liam?" he asked.
"For my own satisfaction." He looked over at Cooper and then back at his laptop. "All of the unsolved cases I have ever worked on are on this laptop. I work on all of them every now and again."
"That can't be that many." Eyes on one of the files he'd pulled out with the reports of the interviews conducted with the victims' family members. As he surveyed the layout of the files, he started to understand the method. At first glance, it seemed strictly timeline oriented, but it was a matrix of theme as well.
"Four cases. Five now." Of the hundreds of cases he had worked on over the years. "But I don't think that we'll be losing this one. We'll get Adam." He wasn't even calling him the unsub anymore.
Cooper nodded, having to respect his tenacity. What Chancellor did on his own time was not his concern. He fell into a long silence, looking for the bits of information he needed to confirm, making sure key elements were in the interviews. After awhile he looked up and sighed. "Would you please put a shirt on?"
"No." Chancellor was too busy to put a shirt on. That and he was in his own hotel room and he didn't feel the need to get dressed just because Cooper was uncomfortable with the way he was dressed. "This is my hotel room. I'll wear whatever I want in it."
"It's really--distracting." Cooper didn't even loosen his tie until he was ready to get into bed. He finally looked up at him, really looked at him from the top of his dark hair all the way down to his barefeet.
Chancellor was leaned back in the chair, slouched down a little bit. He had one foot hooked on the rung beneath the desk and he had the other tucked back beneath the chair. Chance didn't realize that Cooper was looking at him so he didn't glance over at the other. Instead he sat forward and pushed his glasses back up into the mess of his hair so that he could type a few more notes onto the open word document. Just adding another angle to the mess of ideas he already had.
Cooper continued to look, feeling really insignificant until he dropped his eyes back down to his work. Taking his own notes on his prim little legal pad, Cooper didn't bother saying anything else since Chancellor was so clearly in his own head. After awhile, he stood up and went to peer at the map on the wall. It wasn't a part of his investigation, but he was curious.
When Chancellor saw him move out of the corner of his eye he looked up and over at Comfort, studying him while he studied the map. "The locations marked with red pins are the ones where the five victims were taken from. The ones in white are the previously known homes of the Unsub. The ones in blue are places where I think he might have gone. Though the more I think about it the more I think that he's going back to West Virginia. After the kid with the asthma. He'd be the easiest person to take back."
"Murphy Knite has the most family," Cooper noted. "Why would he be the easiest to take?" Parker's notebooks held unrestrained observational text. In the bookx he'd kept hidden from Adam, everything that went on had been recorded. It had been important to Parker, although he didn't know why. It helped to write things down.
"Because Murphy Knite had the closest emotional bond with the unsub. Reagan called me to let me know he was worried about the kid. I think it would be easy for Adam to lure Murphy away from his family and to take him back. The police in his home town have been notified."
"How could someone form an emotional attachment to someone like that? I've heard of Stockholm syndrome, but I still don't understand it." He was smart and well trained, but he was certainly not a BAU agent.
"Because when there is nothing else, the emotions don't just shut down. They were alone with him for years. Murphy was with him for three years, being clothed and fed and cared for by a man who was keeping him in a cage, but he was still loving him. At least in his own very fucked up way." Chancellor closed out of all of his notes, pretty run low for the night.
Cooper didn't seem to notice that the other man was closing up shop. He stared at the map and pondered what Adam might be doing right now. "I guess desperation does weird things to people," he observed before turning to lift up a box of older reports and thumbing through it.
Chancellor opened the file in his computer that had pictures of his husband. He was winding down for the night and he wanted to settle his mind so that he didn't go to bed thinking about corpses and kidnapping and death. Even if Comfort had more work to do he'd hit the point where he was finished for the night.
Having had enough of looking at Chancellor, he kept his eyes focused down on the work at hand. He was meticulous as usual, going through each file and combing it for the details he needed. The length of time spent on the case had been too long, but the working of the case had been impeccable; Cooper could not deny that. When he finally looked up, he noticed Chancellor's demeanor had changed. "What are you doing?"
"Winding down for the night." Chancellor took another drink of his water and then he looked over at Comfort. "I am looking at pictures of my husband." It was the only thing that made him feel better at night after working all day. It was the only way he could manage not to have nightmares.
Without invitation, Cooper got up and walked around behind Chancellor to look at his computer screen. Cooper often took such liberties, invading people's space without really asking. Not surprisingly, he could be overbearing.
Chancellor shut the computer and looked over his shoulder at Comfort. "If you ask, I will show you the pictures. However, if you think that just coming around back here to look over my shoulder is all right, then you are wrong."
"Why is everything a careful little dance with you? You're a minefield." He tapped Chancellor on the head with his finger. "You put everyone through the paces. May I see the pictures you were looking at?"
Being tapped on the forehead made his eyes get a little bit bigger and he blinked and then turned back to open the computer again. He had a whole folder of pictures of his husband and he had just been shuffling through them on a slideshow.
"What did you talk about with Agent Montgomery when you pulled him aside at the crime scene?" He watched the pictures as they flipped past on the screen. It made him sad to watch it, like he was missing something even though he'd never known anything like that.
"Nothing important." Chancellor didn't want Comfort to feel like he was anything less because he hadn't been able to stand at the crime scene and take things. "This picture was taken the night that Grant and I were married." It was a picture of the two of them kissing.
"It upset him. I was aware enough to see that." He was distracted by the picture though and he tipped his head to the side. He wanted that with someone but his life wasn't the type that things like that came along. "Grant," he repeated, thinking the name was nice.
"Grant." Chancellor said it too and he sighed. "I didn't really expect to meet him. I was just at a used bookstore, looking for a first edition Kerouac. He had it. Not only that but he also had a shelby gt." He laughed a little bit and shook his head. "You don't want to know what I said to him, all right?"
"When you put it that way, I do want to know." He wrapped his arms around his waist. "Should I follow your own rigid protocol and ask you nicely to tell me?"
"Maybe if you bribe me to tell you then I will tell you." He glanced over at him and raised an eyebrow before reaching blindly to just shut the laptop. Once it was closed he turned in his chair to face Comfort completely.
He was a little disappointed to see those pictures go. It was nice to see that Chancellor had been happy. Cooper was not a bad guy; he didn't like to see people unhappy, even when said people were just a touch obnoxious. He looked down at Chancellor and took the tiniest of steps back to give himself some space. With nothing else to look at, he found his eyes staring quite intently at the other man. "I don't have anything to bribe you with. I have no ranch, or pickles, or model cars."
"Well what do you have?" Chancellor tipped his head to the side and folded his arms across his chest. He was mostly just playing with Comfort now but he wanted to see what he could come up with, if he could come up with anything Chancellor would see as an even trade.
"I have my own history. I can tell you a story in return, something I choose or something you choose." It was the best he could offer at the moment. He wondered if that would be enticing enough.
It was slightly enticing but he had a feeling that if Comfort heard what he was going to say the man was going to slap him and then walk out. So he unfolded his arms, putting his hands on his knees and he leaned forward slightly. "I told him that he needed to lay off of you because you didn't need any more stress at the crime scene. And he got angry because he thinks I am sticking up for you."
"Were you?" Cooper frowned. "Sticking up for me." His breathing felt a little shallow, a flare of embarrassment rising up in his chest. It bothered him deeply that Chancellor had seen his distress, his outright unprofessionalism.
"Yes." Chancellor had been sticking up for him. Against his own better judgement. And he wasn't even sure why he had been sticking up for him, he just had been. Right then he was pretty sure that Cooper was going to leave or tell him he was an idiot or he didn't even know.
As Cooper stared at him, there was no clench of his jaw or pursing of his lips. "You know, I wanted to do this stuff when I got back from overseas. I had every intention of going through the month training and doing my probationary assignments so that I could join the BAU. I've read everything you've ever written and I really wanted to be brave enough to hunt people down, solve cases. But it didn't work out like that." He laughed a little and it was the bitterest sound he'd made in a long time. "And now my old hero is trying to hold my hand through my first crime scene. Fantastic."
"Crime scenes never bothered me. There was nothing about them that made me feel like I was in any danger. I just knew all the pieces of a puzzle were there and it was like a game. And then I was in a hostage situation. Six people were killed. One of the them was one of my teammates. I got shot. Liam." He shook his head. "After I came back from my medical leave I threw up at the first crime scene. I couldn't sleep. Any time I heard a loud noise I thought it was a gunshot. So I can imagine how you felt today, but I can't completely understand because I am sure it was amplified ten fold for you."
Cooper looked away from Chancellor after having taken in that story. He didn't know if it made him feel better or not. He couldn't quite sift through what that crime scene had brought up. Walking past Chancellor, he went to gather up his legal pad lying on the bed, tucking it away in its leather case, sliding his pen into the slot for it.
Chancellor didn't say anything else. He hadn't expected to get his stories from Comfort. He got up from the chair and headed for the bathroom so that he could brush his teeth and wash his face. He planned on trying to get a full night sleep tonight but he didn't think he was going to make it.
When Chancellor came back out, Cooper was sitting on the end of the bed waiting for him. His expression was a little more composed than it had been before Chancellor left. "I have no intentions on going back on my word," Cooper said with mild determination. "A trade's a trade."
Chancellor was a little surprised to see him still sitting there, but he said nothing. Instead he folded up the files on the bed and tossed the blankets back. He hit the lamp by the bed and then turned off the lights before settling down and getting comfortable.
"You do realize that if you don't ask for something specific I'm going to give you the most superficial story I can think of," he warned. It felt really odd sitting there in the dark and it took his eyes awhile to adjust to the very low light. Fortunately, some of the light from the parking lot glimmered through the curtains.
"Tell me about the first time you fell in love." He said, tucking his hands under his head. "And if you've never been in love then tell me about the first time you had sex. That should be amusing enough."
"What if I haven't done either of those things?" he kept his voice even, not revealing whether that was actually the case or not. "Does that mean I'm too boring to even tell you a bedtime story?"
Pushing up to his elbows, Chancellor looked down at the end of the bed at him. "You're twenty-seven. If you haven't done one or both of those things then I am going to take you out after work tomorrow night because you aren't getting out enough."
Cooper frowned, though it was hard to see. "I've been a little busy with life." And by life he meant a very strict college, military service, and work. Love and sex never fit into his life it seemed and while he was open to the idea, it would have had to land in his lap.
"You've never been in love or had sex?" Chancellor frowned a little bit, not imagining going through life without those things. Twenty-seven years was a long time and he couldn't help but what to show the kid what he was missing out on. "Have you ever been kissed?"
"Yes, it was awkward." Cooper wasn't exactly kissable. The hall monitor type, he very rarely appealed to people who could level kisses against him. "Maybe I could just make up a story so that it's more entertaining."
Chancellor shook his head and he moved from sitting flat onto his knees so that he could crawl across the bed to where Cooper was sitting at the end. he didn't move too fast, the kid didn't need to feel threatened, but at the same time he didn't want to give the kid a chance to get away. He cupped his face and tipped his head down, brushing their mouths together before Cooper could really register what was going on.
There was that awkward thing again--but god did it melt away quickly. His brain scrambled to catch up with what his body was experiencing, but his body was doing a pretty good job running away with itself. A muffled little sound of surprised finally managed to eek it's way out between them and Cooper's hand raised to rest against Chancellor's chest. Bad idea, because it was skin on skin and instead of pushing, it just pressed to get closer contact.
It had been too long since the last time he had kissed anyone and he found himself completely caught up in the way that Comfort was touching him, even if he hadn't originally meant for it to be anything more than a shove away from him. His lips parted and he let his tongue sweep forward, begging entrance to Comfort's mouth.
Cooper's first and only kiss had been from a strangely desperate company mate. The man had found out his girlfriend had been cheating and one cloying thing had led to another and before Cooper knew it, he'd been kissed. But it hadn't felt like this. Cooper had always been afraid that he'd waited too long and now he was too old to ever really learn how to kiss properly, but the feeling of Chancellor's mouth on his was enough to spark his ability and he opened his mouth, letting the other man inside. His own tongue was there to meet Chancellor's and he groaned pathetically.
Once Comfort opened his mouth and allowed Chancellor more of what he wanted there was no turning back. His hand settled onto the boy's chest and then it slid up over the front of his throat and around to slide into his hair at the base of his skull. The other arm slid around Comfort's waist and Chancellor pulled him in closer, moving him into a position where if he didn't protest, he could pull him up onto the bed to lay down.
In a world of black and white this was most definitely inappropriate. It was so far along on the scale of inappropriateness that it sent Cooper's mind reeling for shutdown. That was fine with his body because it wante Chancellor very much. He kept kissing him, actually tasting him and the toothpaste he'd used. With a spark of eagerness, Cooper actually helped Chancellor pull him upward on the bed to lie next to him.
Inappropriate or not, it felt good. It felt right, which was strange, but alluring. Chancellor kept his fingers laced into Comfort's hair and he drew his head back slightly to deepen the kiss even more. The arm around him shifted as he moved, settling one knee between Comfort's thighs as he let his weight settle partially onto the young IA Agent.
Good was an understatement for Cooper. It felt like fireworks under his skin. Weak little Cooper, let his thighs relax, wanting Chancellor's knee up higher, higher. His head tilted, trying to make the kiss more connective, crushing as he went with the flow of the moment.
Chancellor's hand immediately was busy, setting to work to unbutton Comfort's jacket and then to untie his tie. Blindly, he was still fast and efficient at getting the jacket open and tie off. And, as though to distract the younger agent from his hand continuing the work with his shirt, he let his hips press down, causing their bodies to collide and his thigh to press tightly to Comfort's groin.
Completely distracted by that pressure against him, Cooper let out a little moan, but it was devoured into Chancellor's mouth. It didn't seem as if his mind was ever going to catch up, the poor thing stumbling along at a fumbling jog to notify Cooper of how bad an idea this was. His mind flashed to times in the showers when he couldn't take his eyes off of the way water slid down skin. Or the many times he had felt so very disconnected and unwanted.
Finally pulling his hand free from Comfort's hair, Chancellor utilized both hands in tugging Comfort free of his jacket and shirt once they were both unbuttoned. He had no use for the clothing now, it only stood as a barrier in the path of something he wanted so desperately.
Cooper was quite vocal, something he hadn't known prior to this moment considering his lack of experience. But every little thing drew another sound out of him. As soon as his skin was exposed, he was plummeted back into feeling awkward again and he pulled back from Chancellor to look at him. "We really can't do this," he said as he arrived upon his senses. But his lips were swollen from the kiss and his cheeks were flushed and his voice held little to no conviction.
"We really can." Chancellor let his hand slide down and press against the front of Comfort's pants. He pushed his fingers against his groin, rubbing into him as best he could. Right then all he wanted was to show the younger agent just how good all of this could be.
Whimpering at the touch, Cooper found himself grinding into it rather than pulling away (which would have been the proper thing to do right now). "This definitely counts as a bribe," he said, but he felt so weak against Chancellor's attentions. He'd said staunchly that he was not going to get attached, but the problem was that he'd been attached before he even got this assignment.
"Well then just tell them I bribed you and they'll fire me, but you'll at least have a good night, won't you?" He unbuckled Comfort's belt and unbuttoned his pants before sliding his hand down into them. Chancellor let his fingers push passed his underwear and then circled his fingers around his cock.
Was this actually happening? Cooper wasn't the sort of person who did single nights. But then he reminded himself that he wasn't the sort of person who did any nights at all, so he didn't have the right to be leery about a singular one. For all that thinking, Cooper found himself dumbfounded and surprised when Chancellor touched him, but his hips knew what to do and they fucked forward once on their own accord. "Agent Connelly," he exhaled breathlessly, formal even in the middle of this.
Part of him wanted just to jerk Comfort off, to let him feel how good it could be without actually taking it all the way. To leave him wanting more. But then he really didn't think that he could just do nothing, not with how hard he was. He rocked his hips against Cooper's thigh, letting him feel how hard he was. "I want you."
A million questions raced through Cooper's mind. Why, being the first and foremost. But he was afraid of the answer, especially where Chancellor was concerned. Did the man just really need to get laid? Was this some strange ploy to mess with him? Was it actually a bribe of some sort? "I don't know how," was all he said. He may have meant the mechanics of sex, or he may have meant that he didn't know how they could do this by the rules.
"I'll teach you how." Chancellor moved up onto his knees and he tugged Comfort's pants down, taking his underwear down with them so that he was entirely nude. "I can teach you everything you'd ever want to know." He guided one of Comfort's knees up and he leaned down to kiss the inside of his thigh. "Let me show you."
Weeks later, Cooper got the notion that he would be waking up alone in bed, started awake by thoughts of this and the way Chancellor's mouth looked closed in against his thigh. He'd think about this in the shower, in the car, in bed, at his desk, everywhere. It felt like the man was clasping a shackle around his wrist, locking him to this image forever. Looking half horrified and half needful, Cooper just gave a little nod, breath hitched in his chest as he stared.
That was all the more he needed. Chancellor started to kiss up his hip and along his stomach, over his ribs and higher as he started to move up his body. He stopped just long enough to suck two of his fingers into his mouth, slicking them as best he could with his saliva. Chancellor's mouth found Comfort's neck and he started to suck against his pulse to distract him as his hand found its way down between the other boy's thighs.
Instinctively, Cooper rocked his head back against the mattress, exposing more of his throat to grant Chancellor as much access as he wanted. He was completely unfolding for the other man. Still, his brain hadn't decided whether or not he was going to go through with this. He existed in a discomforting limbo, one where a decision could not be made because of the disparity between how good Chancellor was making his body feel and how loud his sense of duty to his job was screaming at him to stop. Instead of stopping though, he let his knee fall slack to one side, wanting to feel everything that Chancellor had to offer.
Chancellor slid his fingers into Comfort, just two at first because he didn't want him to be too uncomfortable. He kissed along the front of Comfort's throat, sucking at his adam's apple. There had to be just the right balance of attention to the kisses as there was to his fingers, because he wanted Comfort to feel good.
Even though Cooper had lived through some pretty intense things, and he liked to think of himself as wordly, he was quite naive. Chancellor really was running the show here, and Cooper found himself trusting him implicitly. When he felt the man's attentions down below, he tightened up though and held his breath. Swallowing, the bob of his adam's apple twitched beneath Chancellor's mouth.
Chancellor licked up along the bottom of his chin and he nipped there. He let his fingers slide out of him to push in again, just taking things slowly and letting him stretch as much as he could manage. "If you need me to stop just tell me to stop." He wasn't sure if Comfort realized he had that power.
Cooper didn't realize he had any power, not that he would have used it to stop Connelly if he had realized it. He heard the words though and he shook his head. That right there would be his undoing, the thing he remembered when he decided to tell his boss that he needed to leave the FBI. "Keep going," he said quietly, accepting the fact that he wasn't going to have the strength to say no because this was all just too good.
Chancellor slid his fingers slowly in and out of Comfort and when he started to feel like the boy could take more he wiggled them back and forth, causing him to stretch and adjust. He stretched his fingers a little farther, pushing them forward to try and hit his prostate.
Not knowing whether to pull back or push himself down harder, Cooper stayed where he was. For a moment, he just concentrated on Chancellor's hand and what it was doing, but that was driving him crazy and he wasn't sure if it was in a perfectly good way. Instead, he reached up for a kiss, wanting to feel that mouth on his again. Once they connected, he started to let his body relax again and Connelly's fingers started to feel good. Very good. With a little moan, he pressed himself harder against them.
Chancellor kissed him harder and he let his tongue sweep into Comfort's mouth so that he could taste him again. His head was a flurry of emotion and he let his fingers wiggle back and forth to push even deeper. He was impossibly hard now and unable to stop himself from grinding againt Comfort's thigh in an attempt to relieve a little pressure.
Cooper wanted to do something about that hardness against his thigh. He wanted to get his hands around it, or his mouth, or something else. "I think--" Cooper tried to speak, tried to will himself into coherency but he couldn't do it. "Please just--I want you to--" couldn't finish a sentence.
"What do you want, Comfort?" Chancellor asked as he let his fingers slow to a stop. "Tell me what you want and I will give it to you." At this point he almost meant anything. Whatever he wanted he was going to let the boy have it.
His face twisted up with confusion and he found that he didn't like it when Chancellor stopped moving against him. He bit his bottom lip, trying to think. "Isn't it okay not to know what I want?" his voice was not above a whisper and he looked up at Chancellor as if he might have all the answers.
When he said that he didn't know what he wanted, then Chancellor decided for him. "Stay right here." He had to go and get a condom from his bag, but for the moment he just leveled a hard kiss against Comfort's mouth so that he was too distracted to change his mind and leave.
The kiss left him breathless enough that his mind kept reeling from it. When Chancellor left him, Cooper glanced down at himself and how wantonly hard he was. It was embarrassing in a way because he couldn't control how aroused he was and it was so plainly obvious for Chancellor to see. He waited, pinned to the bed by utter lust and nervous curiosity.
Honestly, the condoms had been a last minute deicision. Really, he wasn't even sure why he had picked them up in the first place except for the fact that he was getting lonely and he'd strongly been considering just going to a bar and picking someone up. It was embarrassing to think about but he wasn't sure what his other options were. Until now. And now he was glad he'd waited. He came out with the condom and the little tube of lubricant and he crawled back onto the bed. Chancellor stayed on his knees and he pulled Comfort down just a little so his knees hooked over his hips.
He thought it was a strange feeling to be on the brink of this and the realization that it was going to be worth what he would have to give up for it. Deep down, he wasn't foolish enough to believe that this meant much more than the moment to Chancellor. Without really thinking, he slipped his hand down to brush his fingers against the other man's cock, wanting to feel it and wanting to affect him.
A shiver ran through him and he pushed his hips forward slightly so that he brushed against Comfort's hand. Chancellor was completely at this kid's mercy and Comfort didn't even realize it. He only let him touch and explore for a moment and then he rolled the condom down onto himself and grabbed the lube to slick himself.
He was not naive enough to not know exactly what Chancellor was doing. He was so far in this though that he wasn't thinking about how big this moment might seem to him later. "Agent," he murmured. He wriggled his hips just a little, wanting to know what it felt like.
Pushing Comfort's knees back up against his chest, he pinned them to the other man's body and he leaned down to kiss him. Licking over Comfort's lips and into his mouth, he wanted to distract him from the way it was going to feel when he pushed inside of him.
There was no comparison for the way Chancellor's tongue felt aganst his lips and inside of his mouth. His whole body yielded to the other and the whimper he made was lost into the kiss. "I want you," he murmured incoherently.
Reaching down with one hand, he lined himself up against Comfort and he pushed his hips forward so that he could slide into him. It was a slow, he knew he couldn't go very fast with him. At least not at first. Chancellor moaned into the kiss as he felt their bodies connecting.
Cooper let out a cry, but was thankful that it disappeared against Chancellor. He pushed against the man on top of himself, mostly just to brace, then he pulled, trying to get him closer.
When his hips were connected with Comfort's, he stayed still, just letting the boy getting adjusted to the way it felt to have him inside. He groaned quietly, his hands squeezing Cooper's hips before they slid up the sides of his body
The stillness felt safe, but it didn't last because Cooper's body wanted movement, he wanted Chancellor to fuck him and he couldn't hold still anymore. Twisting his hips, he rolled them forward and then back, causing Chancellor to slide against him.
Chancellor moaned and he thrust his hips forward again so he went right back into him. Sliding back, he was quick to try to get back inside of Comfort again. He needed to be inside of him, he couldn't even handle being outside of him for long.
Hitching his legs up, he locked his ankles around Chancellor's waist. His heels dug into the man's back, urging him forward each time. He felt overwhelmed, but blissfully mindless as well. There was nothing but the wicked ache dissolving into a heat that slipped over his skin.
The first few thrusts were selfish. Shallow and quick as he fell into the pleasure of fucking someone after so long. But he settled down the frantic need to fuck him and he tilted his hips to thrust deeper. Right into his prostate. He slid his hand down Comfort's chest and along his stomach before he wrapped his fingers around the boy's cock.
It was then that the discomfort took a backseat to the pleasure and he dropped his hands to his sides to clutch into the blankets of the bed. He was getting loud, really loud and he didn't really realize it so he did nothing to hold back his cries. He was not exactly equipped to last very long and Chancellor's hand was making painfully short work of him. When he came, it was almost a surprise and he pressed the back of his hand to his mouth to hold back the sounds he realized he was making.
Chancellor kept stroking him off, his hand working him through his orgasm. The other hand lifted to pull Comfort's hand from his mouth. He laced their fingers together and he pinned his hand into the bed. His hips kept thrusting and he tried to push himself towards an orgasm because he didn't want to just keep fucking the kid.
It would have been fine with Cooper if Chancellor had done just that. He kept moving his body against the other's, completely disregarding the fact that he'd come so quickly. At this point in his life, he could go again. Without his hand to block the noise he fell into making a lot of it again. "More, Agent Connelly, Chancellor, please."
"Fuck." Chancellor muttered. He could hardly even think straight becasue of the noise. Rocking his hips a little harder he pressed forward, still going because he couldn't get over how good it felt to be inside of him. His free hand slicked the come up Comfort's stomach and over his chest until he could get his hand near his mouth to taste him.
Cooper acted on a whim and reached to clutch Chancellor's hand. He pulled the man's fingers against his mouth before sucking them inside. Sliding his tongue between his fingers, he caught Chancellor's gaze. There was that embarrassment again, as if he didn't have the right to be enjoying himself this much.
Chancellor groaned, completely taken away when the boy tasted his own come and he pulled his hand back so that he could kiss him again. The kiss tasted even more like Cooper and he moaned again. His hand slid away and back down to his cock, wanting to try to get him hard again because he wasn't ready to be done yet.
It wasn't going to take much. Cooper had never found someone so attractive before and it was more than physical. Just to torture himself a little, he looked down between the two of them, watching Chancellor's hand fist over his cock. "Christ," he let his head drop back, feeling himself swell again.
When his head tipped forward, Chancellor kissed along his shoulder and he nipped at the side of his throat. His hips started to move a little faster and he made sure that nearly every thrust was hitting his prostate.
He groaned, lifting his shoulders up, wanting every part of himself to get close to Chancellor. When his mouth got closer to the other man's ear he managed to whisper. "Don't hold anything back." He really didn't think that he'd be getting another go at this and he wanted all of it.
At the demand not to hold anything back, there was nothing Chancellor could do but give him what he wanted. His hips rocked harder, body moving with a purpose. He wanted to give Comfort everything to make him realize that he was missing out on something great.
With an arch in his back, he crushed his stomach up against Chancellor's. It caught his cock between them and the friction sent him sailing. All he could do was enjoy it, letting Chancellor take him in the deepest possible way. It would be easy to get addicted to something like this.
Chancellor leaned back, moving onto his knees and then he pulled Comfort upright, so that he was sitting in his lap. Both of his arms wrapped tightly around the smaller man and he pressed his hands against his back to keep them tightly together. "Fuck, Comfort..."
"Say Cooper," he begged. "Just once." He knew that his own formalities were to keep people at arm's length and he wanted to pretend that Chancellor wasn't doing that with him. He clung to the man. "You feel so good," he whimpered.
"Cooper." Chancellor didn't have to be asked twice. His hand slid up the back of Comfort's neck and he laced his fingers into the boy's hair. Chancellor pulled him into a kiss, crushing his mouth down to the other boy's. He was getting so close.
Hearing that launched his emotions into the stratosphere. He wasn't sure what that meant but for now he just let it happen. Now that he was sitting up he had a little more control and he used his muscles to ride Chancellor, arms hooked around his shoulders.
"Fuck, fuck." Chancellor couldn't even begin to describe how good all of this felt. He pushed his hips up, thrusting again Cooper as he rode him. "I am close, I'm getting close." Chancellor could barely even think straight and he coudln't remember the last time he'd gotten off.
Cooper kept it up, relentlessly. With his previous orgasm, Comfort had the stamina to hold back and wait for the other. He wanted to see him come, the expression on his face, the sounds he made. Putting his hands on either side of Chancellor's face, he held him fast and gave him the softest kiss, barely brushing their lips together. It was a jarring contrast to the way they were thrusting together.
When Cooper kissed him that way he moaned softly and let his eyes close. That was the last thing he could take before he was coming, spilling into the condom inside of Coop. He thrusted his hips up a few more times, pushing himself through his own orgasm.
Somehow, Cooper managed to keep the kiss soft, even though he could feel Chancellor's body lose control. It just felt good to kiss the man like that. But before too long, he'd lost control too and he dropped his forehead down against Chancellor's shoulder.
In spite of the fact that he'd kept in shape, Chancellor knew that he was going to be a little sore from all of this. It was the type of work out he hadn't gotten in a long time and as he settled back against the bed, pulling Comfort down with him so that they were laying side by side, he just sighed, entirely pleased with the way this had turned out.
Cooper didn't know what to do with his body. He laid next to Chancellor, breathing heavy and not sure what to say. Pressing his hand against Chancellor's stomach, he focused on breathing.
Chancellor kept his arms around him, not wanting to let go of him. Instead he just kissed him gently, taking his time to really enjoy it now that he wasn't focusing on getting the other boy off.
The kiss was relieving. Cooper was having a hard time processing all of this. "What just happened?" he finally had the gumption to ask.
"I think I just fucked you senseless." Chancellor replied. He kept rubbing his hand gently up and down his back and down over his ass. Part of him couldn't even believe that just happened.
Cooper nodded and actually laughed a little. "Yeah, I think you did." Now that the rush was over, he was starting to feel self conscious about his nakedness. Not many people had seen him naked since the car bomb unless one counted medical experts.
"You really keep in shape, Comfort." He liked the other boy's body, but he knew that he would since the afternoon he'd seen him in just his tight little button down. "You have an amazing body."
That made his cheeks hot and he tilted his head away from Chancellor shyly. "Thanks," he said quietly. "You're really good at that." It came out wrong. "Not that I'm an expert."
"I can't believe you came twice." he hadn't slept with someone as young as Comfort since he was that age so it had been a while since he'd met anyone who had the turn around time that he did.
The things that came out of Chancellor's mouth consistently made his body feel tingly and his cheeks flush. "Is that merely a statement, or were you complimenting yourself?"
"Statement. But now that we are talking about it, i was pretty good, wasn't I?" Now he was acting like a dick but he smiled to let him know he was mostly teasing. "Are you going to stay the night?"
Sleeping in one hotel room with Chancellor or another hotel room alone. It was an easy decision. "I'll stay. I need to get up early to compile my notes and drive back to DC." It wasn't a long drive, but he needed to get there as soon as possible. He couldn't be on this case anymore and he couldn't lie to his boss about why.
"Why are you going back to DC?" Chancellor didn't think that his case was over yet so he wasn't sure why he would be heading back before he needed to be. "I thought you had to work on this case for a while."
Cooper glanced up at the man. "I can't investigate someone who I've slept with. Actually, I'm not sure I'll stay with the bureau." It seemed like a drastic decision, but it made perfect sense to Cooper.
"What?" Chancellor pulled his head back. "What do you mean you aren't going to stay with the bureau, you can't quit your job just because we had sex. It doesn't even matter, you can still investigate the team and do a thorough job."
"How would that even be possible?" Cooper couldn't fathom being unaffected by this. "I can't continue on this case after what's happened. It wouldn't be right." And that was very important to Comfort. He frowned, wondering if Chancellor meant it didn't matter because it was just a fuck. He hadn't expected more, but he'd wanted it.
"Okay, I can understand leaving the case but the bureau? You said that your job was your everything how can you decide that you want to just give it all up after one night?" He was starting to stress out a little.
"I think sleeping with one of the individuals you're supposed to be investigating is a fireable offense, Agent Connelly. I'm not going to lie to my boss. So I guess what I mean is that the bureau will be leaving me."
"Just don't tell him that you slept with me." Chancellor sat up a little bit. "Tell him that you need to be taken off of the case for personal reasons or that you couldn't handle the field aspect of working with the BAU."
That last bit stung a little. "I did handle it though. I'm not going to lie. If I don't say anything, I'll still know the truth. Besides, someone might find out." Especially if they did this again.
"I didn't think you were going to lose your job over this." or he wouldnt' have done it, and now he was starting to get a little bit upset. "Who is going to find out?"
"This was a singular event then?" He kept his voice level as he sat up too because he felt far too vulnerable lying down. He could sense the situation ramping up and it concerned him. "I made the decision. I'm not blaming you or anything."
"I don't know. I don't know if it's a singular event. It's not expressly forbidden to be fucking someone within the bureau, you know." He rubbed his hand over his face and just tried to settle himself down.
"No, but fucking someone while investigating them is pretty forbidden. And displaying bad judgment tends to carry over into other aspects of one's career. Why are you getting upset? It's not like you slept with me to influence my data gathering, right?"
"No. But you said it yourself, your career is everything to you and I didn't think... christ." He got up from the bed and went to get his pajama bottoms so that he could just think. There had to be a way around this. "Why would you jeopardize your career?"
As soon as Chancellor put his pajama bottoms on, Cooper reached for his pants. Maybe it would be a bad idea to spend the night. "Because it felt good, you felt good. I wanted it and I can find another career that's everything to me." He wasn't worried about that. "Besides, listening to what you think about my job and how insignificant it is has kind of--I don't know."
Chancellor came back to the bed and he sat down, taking Cooper's pants away from him. He didn't want him to get dressed and leave, instead he passed him his boxers. "I was being an asshole because you are threatening my livelihood and the team."
Cooper was quiet, slipping into his boxers and reaching for his pants in Chancellor's hands. "You want me to not say anything, get reassigned and go on about my life? Then what?" He meant about them, but he didn't say so.
"I don't know." Chancellor should have known better than to fuck a virgin but it had been too good to pass up. Now he didn't know what the fuck he was going to do. Especially because the kid was pretty irresistible and, well, he really did kind of like him. "Get reassigned, keep on your job and just... keep coming around, I don't know. I don't even know if I'm going to be able to keep on the team, they brought you in to get rid of me."
"They're mostly after Meridian. He messed up. But honestly, I don't think he'll get much more than a reprimand." He found his shirt and started to put it on. "You don't have to get so frustrated, Connelly. I didn't expect this to be more than a one time thing. If I do end up losing my job over it, it won't be because I thought you'd fall madly in love with me or even fuck me on the regular." As he spoke he was getting angry.
"Well I could probably fuck you on the regular." Chancellor said as he stopped him from taking the shirt to put it on. "When I asked if you were staying the night I meant because I wanted you to stay the night." he didnt want him to go.
His crush was growing more and more evident to himself and he really had to get out of there. This had been a big mistake. "Please give me my clothes."
Chancellor sighed and he just handed the clothing back to Cooper. Now he really just felt like shit. Getting up from the bed he just started towards the bathroom. He coudln't believe he'd gotten himself into this.
"Walk away first," he said just loud enough for Chancellor to hear. He put on his pants and shirt before tying his tie.
Chancellor stopped and he came back to where Comfort was standing. He took his tie and started to tie it for him, not saying a word until it was knotted and finished. "You're the first person I've slept with since my husband died. So the fact that my fucking you is going to make you lose your job? That doesn't really do much for me. And since you seem to be so dead set on leaving, then yeah. I'm going to walk away. Good luck in DC, Comfort. I'm sorry I cost you your job."
That leveled him, the part about his husband. Feeling utterly confused again, Cooper stared at him and caught hold of his wrists before he could turn away. "It was worth it anyway," he said honestly before pulling away and gathering up his folders. He didn't give Chancellor the time to do anything before he was gone, shutting the door behind him. |
