Reagan chewed on the inside of his lower lip nervously before he shook his head a little bit and glanced back at the painting. The window looked like one of hope in the midst of a murky storm, but he had to wonder if Murphy even had a shred of hope for himself. It was sad.
"Just... I'm sure that Murphy will probably testify for Adam," he said quietly after a moment. "Adam's attorney will jump on that. He won't care what Adam's done to me or to Murphy, or any of us. Murphy's been used, and almost brainwashed, and that lawyer won't care. He'll just use him, too."
