"Regardless of what Murphy says, I'm sure Adam is going away for a very long time. I think the judge will see that Murphy is a troubled young man, though it really is unfortunate that you're probably right about Murphy getting used by the attorney again." It was a sad state of affairs and perhaps the setup for a life of simply getting taken advantage of because that was the kind of treatment Murphy felt he deserved after getting broken down so far by Adam.
It was hard not to take this case personally because Reagan had been there with the other victims. If he took all of his cases like this, Liam would be a disaster.
