It had been almost impossible for Liam to leave work. He trusted his team, but the idea of letting them go it alone was terrifying to him. While Liam wasn't a micromanager, he liked to be there just in case. To be honest, he couldn't imagine a scenario where the team would be crippled without him, and ultimately that had been the thought he needed to be able to take that final step out the door.
Two weeks. A lot could happen in two weeks. But Liam wouldn't know it because he'd left his cell phone stuffed deep in his bag at home. If the team really needed him, they had the hotel phone number. It seemed so old fashioned, but that was the only way he was going to be able to leave work at home.
Reagan had been able to convince Liam to wear some linen pants, something breatheable. It had been one hell of a conversation to get him into flip flops, but now that he had them on, he found he really enjoyed walking in the sand. "You know, this is even better than the honeymoon. I'm not nearly as nervous as I as then," he noted with a laugh.
