| | content | ] | I have had a couple movies that have touched me, over the years. The Crow, Fantastic Four. Both in my top 5 movies, easily. But none so much have touched me as The Illusionist. It takes the message from The Crow of Real Love is Forever and transends that. Through Death, and through Magic. It was a beautiful movie, and therefore now, my Favorite Movie of all time.
A quote to share:
"Time. From the moment we enter this life we are in the flow of it. We measure it and We mock it, but we cannot defy it. We cannot even speed it up or slow it down. Or can we? Have we not each experienced the sensation that a beautiful moment seemed to pass to quickly, and wished that we could make it linger? Or felt time slow on a dull day, and wished that we could speed things up a bit?" -Edward Norton as Eisenheim the Illusionist |

I've never seen Fantastic Four, actually. Or The Illusionist. Although The Illusionist is on Netflix instant watch. Sooo, I suppose I really should. | |
