Ruby raised her glass in a toast too, downing her shot quickly.
She glanced back at Laura for a moment before she realized the look which Laura was giving to her. It was definitely something Ruby had to have fun with. For it was at that very moment that she realized that Laura just may be checking her out.
Her thoughts were confirmed when she opened her mouth to comment on how she was pretty. Ruby ignored the last bit of the comment, flashing Laura a shy yet most modest grin, her eyes moving away from Laura's face in feigned shyness. Of course she knew that she was pretty--not even just for a Slytherin. "I'll take that as a compliment," she said. "And you're pretty daring, for a Hufflepuff."
