"Hallo!" Laura greeted the Slytherin in the friendliest manner she could. "I really appreciate you doing this for me. Shall we?"
She led the way inside the room, settling herself at a desk and pulling out a couple of pieces of parchment. Holding out her hand for Ruby's notes, she readied her wand to make a quick copy with.
"The house elves outdid themselves, as usual," she commented. "I got a bunch of different things, since I didn't know what you would like. But, I know what I like!"
So saying, she grabbed a handful of cherries (and where did they get those from? Was it even the right season for cherries?) and began to systematically munch her way through them.
