Stephen was very surprised when she grabbed his hands in hers and caressed it. It was a rather bold movement for her, but he didn't mind one bit -- in fact, he liked it very much. The contrast of her small and soft hand in his, big and rought because of Quidditch was a nice feeling. Not to mention it seemed like her hand fitted his perfectly, just like a glove. "I know." He nooded. "And that's why we'll go slow if you do choose to give me a chance." He said in a voice that was almost a whisper as he looked into her eyes.
She was absolutely intoxicating. All of her. He caressed her hand with his thumb, trying to calm her down, as he kept staring at those beautiful brown eyes of hers. He could easily get lost in them; they were so full of kindness and sweetness...
Stephen kneww what was about to come, too. He tried not to do it, not becaus ehe didn't want to but because he had promised her they would just talk; but it was impossible to resist now. With his free hand, he caressed her cheek, tracing a finger across it lightly until it stopped on her chin. He tilted it up gently and slowly leaned forward, brushing his lips against her as if asking for permission to kiss her fully. He didn't want to do anything she wouldn't want, even if it was something as innocent as a first kiss -- or rather, second kiss. Or a second-first kiss. If she didn't push away or make any gesture for him to stop, he would give her the best kiss she would ever get in her life.
