Re: Draco & Pansy & Theo and open.
"Exactly. But I do not, however, see why one shouldn't take advantage of such a fact." Theodore's head cocked to the side as he continued to look at Pansy, his eyes sparkling in mild amusement. He didn't exactly believe such a thing. Pretending was only for those whose lives aren't interesting enough to live in. "And you think so? Oh, well." The other long-stemmed rose was balanced between long fingers in one hand, while delicate stem of a glass of punch was lightly clutched between long delicate fingers. "The Weasley's have always been a fascination in occasions such as this. They have always educated the masses on what NOT to do, and how NOT to dress. It's amazing. They accomplish such a goal every time. Ronald Weasley in our fourth year. That's all anyone has to say, really."
And Pansy's tone was replaced by one so cutting, that Theo almost believed his cheek was now left lashed and bleeding. "Oooh." Theodore teased, his lips pouting, not a shard of hurt from her insults or even remorse over his own remarks. People did often snap first before he did during banters like as this. He owed it all to the fact that almost nothing at all could hurt him; it was something that he was much used to though he still did not know how to deal with them every time. "I seem to have hit a nerve. I'm guessing it's that one throbbing on your forehead, just a flick away from bursting." he observed out loud with a slight narrowing of his eyes, and a grin in his lips. "Ah. But I believe it is not if we walked in together in the Ball or not that counts..." he took a step forward, his height towering Pansy's form, and plucked an imaginary dust from the mask placed over the other's features, a gesture that was ironically too sweet for their present situation. "It's how long my date would stay with me for the night..." He leaned in just a bit closer, his voice reduced to a softer, though still cutting tone. "And I happen to know for a fact that I am not in love with my date. You, on the other hand..." he trailed off meaningfully. "I don't believe I can say such a thing about you. Your jealousy is written all over your pretty little features, Pansy. Try to hide it..."
