Michael Corner was in such a good mood, it was nearly scary. He had never caught a ride on the happy train for this long amount of time, and it seemed like he was the only one who was alloying himself to skip and whistle and smile at anyone and everyone. Of course, he was always fond of working his magic and smiling at the cute ladies who looked very willing to race off to the nearest empty classroom, but now he just felt completely in control of everything. Not that every girl was completely wrapped around his finger just yet, but he felt that there were a fair few out there who were starting to realize that Michael Corner had a very fantastic interior to match that stunning exterior. And how stunning it was, too. But alas, he didn't need to hear it anymore, he already knew. Too well, in fact.

Susan Bones was a cute girl, if not slightly different from the types of girls he usually considered cute. She certainly wasn't ugly, and he didn't think she had a reason to be so upset lately about something he didn't entirely understand. This was an open invitation in his eyes. Not to take advantage of her, of course, but to simply show her that he could offer her options that would cheer her right up. There were quite a few options, really, and he wasn't entirely picky about just what happened to come into play tonight. Nothing would put a damper on his good mood.

Michael was whistling again as he made his way to where he new the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room was. He didn't pay any attention to the students wandering by, but instead kept what he hoped was a tempting grin on his face, just in case Susan was already waiting for him once he rounded the corner.
