The other's scrutiny of his eyes made Theodore shift slightly in his seat, though this action was a barely noticeable one. His eyes drifted back to her and caught the way she was twirling her hair in her dainty fingers. He was entranced at this for a moment. "Character?" he questioned, shaking his head. "I doubt lone should consider it as such. It's a flaw and cannot called as much else." His lips declined in a small, subtle frown when she told of her problems in sleeping, though he asked nothing more about it, thinking it would have been unnecessary to do so. "Yes. Different ways."
"I have, most unfortunately. One of them, just very recently." Again, the dismissive tone was used. He truly did not wish to indulge with the recent accidents he has had with Daphne, or Pansy for that matter. It was just something... he'd rather forget.
Her opinions about the text he referred left him stunned for moment, then gradually impressed. Never has he come across someone who was so open about their harbored opinions about literature. His eyes twinkled with interest as he spoke. "Have I ever said that the plot line strictly circled around romance? I did not." Theo draped his arm at the back of the couch and veered his torso to slightly face her on the seat. "But it is undeniable that the romance part of the story- one that was the most obvious, and less concealed of the underlining issues- is the definition of true romance." His eyes never left her as he spoke, and there, he took time to note her distinct features. She was quite stunning at this weak light, he noticed, and the fact that she was merely clad in her pajamas was something one wouldn't even notice. "Defying all the odds, sacrificing pride and lineage. Don't you think that's the very essence of romance? Dare I say, even love?" A small smile.
