Who; Mandy Brocklehurst and Michael Corner
When; November 22nd, after the match.
Where; Start off in the Hospital Wing then after that, who knows.
Rating; PG-13? Idk.
Summary; Mandy's going to break him out!

If anyone knew Mandy well enough, they could guess how into she would get when it came to breaking people free. It reminded her of movies that she would watch, mostly with criminals, how they would dress in all black and have that awesome theme music! Oh, Mandy would get into that. Maybe not full on black, because that of course was slightly depressing. But she had on muggle jeans, a dark blue shirt with her cloak over it. Her hair was pulled back into pigtails with a dark sweat band around her head. Looking herself over in the mirrior, she thought she looked very good. Grinning she grabbed her wand and a small bag of sweets that she could share with Michael if they made it out alive. Not to mention a few said items that would help distract Madame Pomfrey.

Mandy left the dorm, being very quiet she walked down the steps that lead into the common room. There were a few people in there but none of them spoke to her, which she liked because then she wouldn't have to explain what she was doing. Leaving the common room, she walked on the stairs and down a few halls making her way to the Hospital Wing. On her way she hummed softly to herself, coming up with her own sneaky theme song.

Finally she arrived at the Hospital Wing. Grinning she peaked around the corner to find where Pomfrey was. Once spoted she took out a dung bomb, trying to move quickly, she used her wand to send it across the Hospital wing to her office. Grinning she then set it off, waited a few moments then went to find Michael's bed. Finding him she grinned, placing her hands on her hips as she heard Pomfrey starting to complain, making her way towards her office.

"Mandy "Resucer" Brocklehurst, are your service!"

As much as he liked getting attention, especially when he was injured and everyone seemed to become very nice and sympathetic toward him, this was just ridiculous. Michael had gotten hit on the head, but yet every time he tried to move his arm to tend to an itch, or every time he shifted his leg to stretch or climb off the bed, Madam Pomfrey went mad and came running over to him, wagging that finger of hers and yelling at him to stay put. It was as though his leg was ripped in half, or that he broke his arm in twelve different places. Attention from his most favourite people in the world weren't even worth this. He wanted to be alone in his dormitory so he could rant and smack things and fume about the loss to Hufflepuff. He'd never had anything against Hufflepuff, even though he always thought Ravenclaw was the best house at Hogwarts, but right now he wanted nothing more than to glare at them all.

It was so unbelievably boring that Michael was trying to see just how high he could count before he actually went stark raving mad. It wouldn't take much, he knew, especially considering that there was no one around to keep him sane. He had his journal, at least, and that made things slightly better. Mandy's offer made his entire day that much brighter, and he'd almost let out an audible whoop of excitement when she suggested helping him get away.

He heard the commotion before he even saw anything, but after he had started to inch upwards slightly and crane his neck for a better look, Mandy suddenly appeared with a grin on her face that made him grin right back. He averted his eyes for a brief second to watch Pomfrey start screeching and hurrying toward her office, and didn't waste a minute before swinging his legs over the bed.

"Mandy the Rescuer, if I never get to tell you this again, you're the best. Think she's distracted enough?"

"Oh please feel free to remind me anytime you wish," she replied with a smug smile on her face. Glancing back over to Pomfrey, she shrugged as she pulled out a few more items out of her bag. "If not, these will keep her occupied for a while." Setting the two dungbombs off, she threw them towards her office, where Pomfrey was already going mad.

"Now let's not waste anytime Corner. We have a lot of complaining to do after we get out." Although at the moment, she didn't feel like complaining, for the first time all day she felt better.

"Don't tempt me, or I will tell you this so many times that you will wish you weren't so amazing," Michael warned, arching both his eyebrows and wasting no time into getting to his feet and to a standing position. It felt good to be able to stand without having someone running over to him and placing a hand flat on his chest so they could push him back down. He watched with slighted awed eyes as Mandy threw more of those deliciously evil dungbombs toward an already fretting Pomfrey.

"Yes, ma'am! I don't even want to spare a moment to say goodbye to my temporary abode." And with that last statement he playfully tugged on Mandy's shirt and tried to look innocent as he wandered passed the foot of his bed and whistled.

Mandy couldn't help but laugh a little at his statement. What girl wouldn't like to be called, the best or amazing? Mandy certainly wouldn't mind. Taking another glance to Pomfrey then back to Michael as he got on his feet.

Feeling the tug, Mandy grinned as the two walked away, Mandy quickening her pace slightly, just so Pomfrey wouldn't have time to look over and see the two leaving.

Once they were safely outside of the Hospital wing, she looked over towards Michael. "Alright then, were to? Did you want to go back to the common room or do you think some fresh air would do you some good? I brought sweets too," she replied tossing him the bag of chocolate frogs.

It wasn't the most dangerous mission in the world, but Michael still liked to pretend that they were two spies trying to escape from the enemy, or something along those lines. Being as over-dramatic as he was, it wasn't too much of a surprise.

He even made a show of darting his head around constantly as they were wandering along the tiled floor and passing all of the beds in the wing, pretending to look for others who may jump out and accuse them of leaving. But it didn't seem like Pomfrey would even notice his absence for quite some time, as she was still busy squeaking and shouting at Mandy's dungbombs.

Michael let out a huge sigh of pretend relief once they were safely away from that smell of medicines and potions, and turned to grin at Mandy. "I think the fresh air would do me a lot of good, actually. Combining sweets and fresh air is almost dangerous, but I'll take it!" he added, catching the bag of chocolate frogs against his chest. "Unless you'd like to call this little adventure of ours quits, of course."

"Quit? I don't know the meaning of that word, I don't believe this adventure is over yet." A smirk grew across her face as she walked with Michael, making their way outside. Turning to look behind her, they were still clear and in a moment they'd be out of eyesight. Running her fingers through her hair, she turned back to Michael.

"So how's the head feeling by the way?" Knowing that he took a nasty blow. Her head was sure hurting earlier that day but a nice potion helped her out a bit. She would have to remind herself taking more before she went to bed that night so she wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night in pain.

"Fantastic. I don't know how to act on the word, so I suspect we are even," Michael responded, pleased that this wasn't just some sort of brief encounter than would end the moment they were away from the prying eyes of Pomfrey. He didn't like being bored, and seeing as he had just spent a few hours in bed being as bored as could be, there was no way he planned on returning to his dormitory and going to bed again.

"It's annoying as hell," Michael sighed, not wanting to start complaining about it, as he had done to himself enough. "I reckon I'll have a splitting headache tonight, but it will probably be gone by tomorrow. Or so I hope. That's what Pomfrey said, at least. What about you? Is the pain of losing the game much worse than the physical agony for you, too?"

Turning her head she looked over and grinned at Michael. "Great minds think alike I guess." Letting out a small laugh, she reached into the bag Michael was holding a pulled out a Choco ball. Now all they would have to do is find something that they could do that wouldn't be too boring. Though she figured nothing to rough because they both do have head injuries.

"Well I have enough potions in my room to last me a life time, I think I can share with you." Smirking. Finally the two made it outside. Placing her hands on her hips and breathing in the fresh air, she glanced up at the sky and said, "Sweet freeeeeeedom!"

"I always thought that was some sort of silly rumour, but now I really see the truth in the saying," Michael nodded, trying to sound solemn, like he had really just figured out something near and dear to his heart. As soon as Mandy had pulled something from the bag, he did the same and ripped the crinkly wrapper open so quickly that he didn't even take a moment to see what exactly he was feeding himself. It was chocolate, whatever it was, and he sighed rather happily, already in chocolate heaven.

"I should go back to Pomfrey and ask her for some potions," he replied, a twinkle in his eye at the mere thought of subjecting himself to the wrath of that woman. With her burst of excitement, he jumped up and down twice before skipping in a circle, not even noticing the slightly chilly temperature. It just felt nice to actually be outside. "Now, let's see. What were those muggle childhood games I used to play...tag? Hide-n-seek? Can two people play those?" he asked, tilting his head and pondering. "Unless you have even better games I don't know about."

Mandy's eyes sparkled at his suggestion of hide-n-seek. A playful child like grin grew across her face. Looking around she examined the court yard more carefully. Sure enough, there were lovely places that were perfect for hiding. Turning back over to Michael she nodded.

"Two people can play hide-n-seek. Let's see, since it is just the two of us, there's really no need for a safe base. So how about we just sit in our spots till the other finds us?"

"But what happens if one of us hides so well that the other has no idea where to look? I'd hate for you to forever be missing. Plus I hate losing, so if I couldn't find you I'd be upset," he joked, swirling on one of his feet so he could also glance around them at their surroundings. It was a nice day to be outside, and once again he was pleased that he was no longer locked in that stuffy hospital wing being forced to drink potions that didn't really work.

"Though if we do play, who's going to hide first, and who's going to do the seeking?" Seeking made him think of Quidditch for a moment, which again made him think of losing, but he grinned again and tried to forget about that.

"Lets see," she replied trying to think of how two people could play this game. "Oh!" Snapping her fingers once an idea popped into her head. "How about whenever we get tired of looking, we just call out and whoever is hiding will just come out." Looking around again she came up with an easy way to play. "To make it slightly easier we'll only play around this half of the court yard, deal?"

A playful smile grew across her face. "Well, since I rescued you, I think it's only fair that you have to find me."

It seemed like such an easy way to play a game, but with only two people he knew it was the perfect way. And he was certainly going to have to work at not being a poor sport and giving up after a few moments, especially considering that she chose to hide first. There were thoughts of trying to start a Hogwarts-wide game with all the students who wanted to participate forming in his head, but instead he ignore that and focused on Mandy, giving her another smile.

"Well, if you're going to look at it that way," he teased, but he nodded and moved both of his hands up to cover his eyes. "Hopefully I'll be able to count high enough to fifty, if that's a good number for you," he joked.

"Don't hurt yourself." Mandy said laughing. "I don't want to be responsible for any brain damage." Pulling her hair back she told him to go ahead and start counting. Once he would start, she started looking around for a good spot to hide.

Finally she a stone bench by a bush. Even though she knew she would end up getting dirty, she figured it was a pretty decent spot. Running over, she crouched down behind the bush, her back facing Michael's direction. Every now and then she'd glance around and watch him for a moment, trying to hold in the urge to laugh.

"I'll try not to, I know you'd hate to be the cause of a never ending headache, as sweet as you are," he teased again. After he had his eyes covered, he made a show of purposely not starting to count, pretending that he couldn't figure out what number came first and just how he was supposed to play the game. It didn't last long, however, and after a few moments he started.

"One...two...I'm going to find you...three...four..." his voice started to trail on as he listened for any movement, and a hint for what direction she had wandered off in. It got him distracted from his counting, but once he was sure he'd hit fifty, his hands moved out of the way and he peered around eagerly. "Hm, where oh where could she be," he pondered.

Mandy had to place her hand over her mouth to keep her from laughing out loud. It occured to her why she didn't like playing this game a whole lot when she was younger. The girl was horrible at hiding, it was impossible for her to stay quiet. She never knew why but trying to stay hidden made her laugh, unless she knew she was in serious danger.

Carefully, Mandy peered around the bush to see if he was coming in her direction or if he was going in the wrong direction. If the latter, that would at least by her some time to control her laughing.

Humour was the key to everything, in Michael's mind, and he had a feeling that he could make this entire experience easier if he tried to get Mandy to make some sort of noise. She had a very contagious laugh, one that made him want to laugh along with her, so he tried to think of something he could do to make her laugh. Without thinking, he started singing, rather loudly, lyrics from a popular British girl band as he turned in circles, trying to decide on a direction to go.

"I'm singing this just for you, my darling Mandy," he declared in a sing-song voice, deciding to go left, unknowingly getting further away from where Mandy was hiding. "I do hope you didn't just leave me out here by myself," he said again between singing.

Mandy's eyes grew wide when she heard Michael starting to sing. Curse that boy! That's one bad thing about being around someone for 7 years, you start to learn about someone that you could possibly use against them.

So when Michael started to sing, she held her hand over her mouth tighter. Making a mental note to herself to get Michael for trying to cheat. When she realized he was singing a song from a girl band, she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. If there was anything that could get Mandy to laugh it was when a guy acted or sing like a girl.

His singing was getting louder, and with that it was getting progressively worse and worse. He had never been one to carry a tune, as he had always just left that to people who could actually have a musical career ahead of them. This meant that it was the perfect tool for trying to be funny, however, and he even started to mix lyrics from random songs together.

His voice stopped dead when he thought he heard something, which, of course, had been coming from the opposite direction. "I heard that!" he declared, punching his fist into the air playfully. "Unless, of course, someone's toad got loose and it's watching me. Not that I can blame it, really," he continued, swinging on his foot so he could walk in the other direction. "Maaaaandy."

Oh yes, she would find a way to pay him back for cheating. "So unfair!" Mandy hissed as she tried to make herself not laugh. But the louder he sang and the more notes he got wrong, it was more and more difficult.

After letting out the first giggle she couldn't help another couple of giggles come out. When she heard her name being called she quickly covered her mouth and placed her head on her knees.

"Mandy, oh Mandy, you taste like the sweetest of candy. Your hair is not sandy, but it's still dandy, I wish for a sip of brandy," he sang, now making up his own lyrics as opposed to stealing them from bands. He was forgetting those lyrics, anyway, and it was certainly easier to come up with his own rhymes, seeing as there were many thing that rhymed with Mandy.

There was another nose coming from in front of him this time, and he started to laugh, trying to cackle evilly. "Let's see. If I take a few more steps this way, I may find this toad. I don't know, though." He walked a bit, taking his time. He thought he had a idea as to her whereabouts, but once he was standing in front of that spot, he stopped, pausing for dramatic effect.

So there really was no use trying to cover up now. Mandy let out another laugh and she found herself accidently rolling back into the bush. Perfect, he would sure be able to find her now.

When she heard him stop singing, she couldn't help but keep laughing. Next time she would have to pick out a different game to play. Maybe one where she wasn't horrible at.

Michael had been expecting another giggle, at least, but when he heard the sound of bushes rustling and something falling over, he couldn't help but let out his own laugh. It started to blend with hers, and he didn't waste any time in taking a few steps forward and popping behind the bench and bush.

"Aha! I thought I heard a Mandy crouching around down here!" he declared, speaking as though she was some sort of creature wandering around in the dirt. "Ewww, you're dirty!"

"Hey! That was evil," he responded, trying to glare at her as he darted backwards. "But at least I am a better hider than you are. I think anyone would have been able to find your whereabouts," he teased.

After a moment, he reached his hand down and offered to help her to her feet.

"I never claimed to be an angel," Mandy pointed out with a small laugh. Rolling her eyes she accepted his help and stood up from the ground.

After brushing herself off she clapped her hands together and stared at Michael. "Fine then, show me your a better hider than I am the." Grinning playfully.
