As the night waned the news that alcohol was being offered to those of age had slowly lingered through the crowd. It turns out the host had managed a stash of firewhisky as well as some imported wine that was safely kept in a locked trunk in a closet behind an enchanted tapestry.
Around nine in the evening the festivities were also heightened by the reveal of an enlarged Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Torte as requested by the birthday boy. A verse of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" was started by the large gathering of Huffluffs present and carried on until the end with an elongated out of tune final note. During this relatively bad note a few shrieks of surprise left the crowd as a small indoor display of nonflammable fireworks went off. Colours filled the heightened ceilings and applause was offered when it all finished.
