Theodore Nott ([info]pureblood) wrote in [info]riddikulus,
In truth, Theodore had no plans of bickering that night. After all, all reasons for bickering have been dealt with considering the projects is finished. He could serve up the usual sarcasm if the situation required it, but as of the moment the atmosphere in the quiet Astronomy Tower was was pleasant and relaxed. Why do anything to sabotage it?

"Of course." Theodore said monotonously, his gaze wandering off to the other desserts she had brought. He took a seat in front of her, the food settled between them and nodded to her direction as a form of greeting in response to hers. She sure has went to lengths in preparing for their little get-together. It made him slightly guilty, but his feelings hardly reflected on his features. "You hair." he started, placing his bag on his lap as his eyes focused on her. "It looks nice." After having proclaimed such, he opened his bag and fished out the bottle of Champagne he brought and a pair of tall thin-stemmed glasses and placed it in front of them. He placed one glass in front of her and the other by his leg. "My father has always said a celebration was never complete without a little light and bubbly." Theodore explained even though she did not ask, busying himself with opening the bottle; a twist and a pull later, the bottle opened with a light pop. "...Or more often in his case, something hard and highly alcoholic that would render him incoherent in five glasses. Nevertheless, I suppose the concept's almost the same..." he said with an elegant shrug, filling his glass then hers. After placing the bottle beside him, he raised his glass to her. "Cheers. For a job well done."
