"You're welcome." Little did Tracey know that Theodore was harboring the same fears she was. His heart was beating almost painfully against his chest, and he would only be surprised if she didn't hear it from where she stood. He was certainly in very foreign territory, but he was pleased to realize that the slight flutters in his stomach were not bad at all. They were warm, and... pleasant, and surely something he would wish to explore on a little more...
Theodore stood closer to Tracey than he usually did when they started to walk down the hall. The torches had already been put out that evening, leaving the corridor cloaked in complete darkness. "Yes, it would be quite lovely." he said, narrowing his eyes. "Can you see through the darkness?" Theo then asked faintly, his hand reaching out to touch her wrist to stop her, ceasing on his tracks as well.
