Thomas G. Bradley ([info]knightish) wrote in [info]riddikulus,
A snicker. "I supposed that's true." Thomas agreed with a slight nod of his head. "Buddhas?" his tone then turned reflective. "I've heard of those, but I haven't exactly seen them on the... television right?" he asked, looking up at the other, smiling hopefully. Thank Merlin for Muggle Studies. "Not a surprise, really, considering I've never seen an actual television before either. One that actually worked at least- not the dummy one the professor used for demonstrations." Upon the other's words, his mind suddenly wandered to thought of a little Jack Sloper, running about and wreaking havoc in the general world like all small kids do. "You must be an adorable child." he said suddenly, grinning. "And of course it's understandable. You were in a place where you could still use 'short attention span' as an excuse. Right now, however, I doubt they'll let it slide if you used that form of reasoning right now..."

Thomas held the other's amused gaze before he too broke out in laughter. "I'm not, Jack. And I happen to be highly impartial to using lame excuses for being unorganized." he joked, then Jack suddenly snatched back his Quidditch play scribbles. "Oh drat. That would have been the key for my Team's victory! Can't I have a peek? Just five more seconds I promise!" Tom laughed even more as he tried to get the papers back, before the librarian behind her desk fiercely shushed them. More laughter threatened to escape him then, though he was able to control it with a hand against his lips. "Oh, Bloody Hell." he started at a softer tone, leaning in closer towards his companion, his eyes shining with unhidden amusement. "Why the fuck did I suggest the Library again? You and I can't ever be quiet if we tried."

"Oh hush, that's not true." Thomas said with a click of his tongue. "Self-doubt is not a good color on anyone. You'll learn in no time, I bet." A comforting smile.
