jack sloper } ([info]dearjack) wrote in [info]riddikulus,
"Same here, I just have muggle Grandparents," he said with a chuckle listening to Thomas explain. He sucked on the small candy he had been given, rolling it around absently in his mouth, not really paying attention to what he was doing. He watched as Thomas began to separate the notes in piles and he was impressed, his handwriting was less than impressive and he was sure the half-arsed notes he wrote were even worse. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table as he bit down on one of the rocks and winced, it wasn't quite some time. "How are you telling those apart?" he asked shaking his head in disbelief. "It's a sad day when even I can't tell my notes apart," he said shaking his head and rubbing his face and eyes before chuckling. He snorted and shrugged. "Picasso ain't got nothing on me mate," he said puffing out his chest and thumped it. "I'm the next big thing," he said nodding his head. "Didn't you know that? It's all the rage."

"True, and they also use cameras to watch other teams and steal their plays," he replied before leaning over and nodding his head. He watched Thomas read them before he shrugged slightly. "They're not the greatest and it's not that hard. You just take the plays in use and combine a few of them and make a few tweaks, it's not too hard," he explained tapping certain parts of the sheets. He ran a hand through his hair before tapping his chin. "Coaching would be fantastic," he said a little dreamily, a far away look in his eyes before a bit before he snorted in laughter. "That's right, you're the keeper," he said even though he had been well aware of that fact. He made sure to keep up with everyone on the other Quidditch teams so that he knew what to look for. "It does a bit mate," he said nodding his head before chuckling. "Oh yes, you never let balls in, which is why we've won a few times," he said sitting up straight proudly.

"Fine, I'll talk," he replied. "But only because of the compliment, a man can never say no to one of those," he said with a chuckle before tilting his head to the side. "Not a clue, it's a new fad coming in, wanna give it a shot?"
