"I'm sure it's not so bad that you'll wind up losing a hand," she chided lightly, leaning over so she could look at the papers in his hand. For a moment, she skimmed some of the questions. They really did ask for a lot of detail and his whole life story. So he might lose a few fingers, but really, with that line of work, Hermione though it a good idea to go so far in depth so the department doesn't get someone untrustworthy or completely wrong for the position in there.
"This shouldn't take us too long," she said confidently, leaning back over so he could finish his lunch.
