“Who wouldn’t have that attitude? For everyone that says it isn’t a big deal it really is, people treat you differently and sometimes it’s better to just not deal with it. And even then it’s a personal decision.” Stewart’s sarcastic laughter filled the air. It’d been his choice to be open with everyone, and he’d had to deal with exactly what that entailed. It wasn’t exactly praised in the wizarding world, or boarding schools, “I’ve learned it’s better to not give a fuck about what people think.”
Stewart kept quiet when Dean went on about his roommate, he could guess that it was Samuel Harper, after everything Megan Jones had been saying in the journals. He just bit his lip and kept his hand in his pockets even though he wanted to reach out and comfort Dean however he could. It hurt just hearing about it. He’d gone through something similar last summer because despite how he’d felt about Tucker there’d always be another girl, and Stewart would always be his fall back to mess around with. And it was horrible, that feeling. Stewart just looked at Dean and bit his lip, unsure of what to say. “Well… that’s crap. You don’t deserve that.” Stewart walked behind Dean and hesitantly placed his hand on the other boy’s shoulder, debating on doing what every instinct in his body was urging him to do.
