“I know they do, and I know they will treat me different.” Dean said as he looked back over to him. Dean didn’t want to be faced with the looks, the comments, or peoples ‘advice’ on it just being a phase. Dean bloody well knew it wasn’t a phase. He would come out when he was willing and ready, and it all depended on whether he had someone to be close too. Dean knew it sounded sappy but to have the comfort of a boyfriend would make it all the more easy on him.
“Care what people think? Nah I don’t really, more I don’t want to listen to the people’s comments and snide ideas. Not to mention the comments about it just being a phase. Bloody hell I would know if it was a phase or not.” Dean sighed as he shook his head. He wanted to come out mainly to get it over with, but he didn’t want to deal with the shit that came along. Dean never cared what people thought about other aspects of his life, asides for quidditch, so why would he care about what people thought of him being gay. Okay so it was sort of a like he kind of cared.
Dean was about to say something back when he felt the hand on his shoulder. He was surprised how warm it felt, but it did stop him from walking. Dean turned to look at Stewart and weakly smiled, it was the most he would get out of it. “I..uh thanks.” He said as he moved his arm to brush his hand away, but stead of removing it from him he just head the hand. Why was his body urging him to do things that he didn’t exactly want to do? Wait no he did want to do them, just he was surprised he was thinking of being so bold about it.
