Thankfully Neville didn't trip, and he made it off all the stairs safely. Good thing, too, because the common room, as per usual, was not empty. There were always students to be found, waiting to glance up and stare at whoever walked in, mainly because it gave them a good excuse to take a break from whatever subject they were working on. The only face Neville bothered to look at was Linda's, right from the moment he spotted her coming closer. "You, too. Pretty, I mean," he responded, finding it a bit difficult to speak when she was that close to him.
Clearly Linda had some plans in mind, and Neville certainly wasn't going to complain with whatever those plans were, especially considering he didn't have good ideas of his own because it was so difficult to think. "We could, er, go wherever you please! Do any of those places sound most...appealing?" Appealing isn't the word he had meant to say, but it came out like that, which made a light blush form on his cheeks.
