“Thank you,” she said in reply to his compliment, he really was quite cute. Linda was enjoying this, and perhaps a bit more than she had originally thought and it hadn’t even started. Linda gave his hand a squeeze as she started to walk towards the door of the common room. “I’m thinking the Astronomy tower, my hair might get frizzy going outside.” She gave him a smile as she opened the door to the common room and stepped outside.
For some strange reason she felt her heart racing and normally she was so calm when with a guy. Something about Neville always made her feel different and she couldn’t put her finger on what it was. Not to mention she worried that Neville knew about her kissing Ron and she didn’t want to have that change anything. So to change the subject in her mind she decided to talk as she headed towards the Astronomy Tower. “So I have been looking forward to this all day, and I went through so many outfits.” She laughed as she said the last part and smiled looking over at him. Her thumb started to run smoothly across his hand she was holding onto.
