Neville didn't think that handing her his wand deserved that little kiss he got, but he grinned eagerly and blushed in response to the tingling sensation left behind, even after her lips were speaking, summoning the blanket, which he watched as the two words formed almost as though her lips were hypnotizing him. It was all he could focus on, he didn't notice her next words until the blanket was already sailing across the air and toward them. She was quite good at those spells, it seemed, and Neville finally looked away from her lips.
"Nice job! It wouldn't have gone that smoothly if I were the one trying to summon it. I don't even want to know what I would have summoned instead, really," he added, sighing contently.
When she actually went to sit down, together, with him, close to him, on the blanket he couldn't stop thinking about that, how they were together on it. "The sky does always look nice," he agreed, not putting up a fight as they got comfortable on the blanket. He didn't lay down right away, and instead looked at Linda for a long moment with an almost adoring look on his face. "I think you look rather nice under the rainy sky, too."
