neville longbottom ([info]lonqbottom) wrote in [info]riddikulus,
"Eventually," he trailed off, wondering how many tries it really would have taken him to find the right summoning spell. At least Linda was saying it in that way, and not telling him that he would have never gotten it right. It was nice to hear something like that, even if he wasn't entirely focused on that, especially not after that wink she gave him.

Neville shifted a few times before he finally found a comfortable spot, while sitting, on the blanket, but he was turned a bit so he was facing Linda as much as he could without completely turning around and staring directly at her. It was difficult to do, however, for she was the sort of girl who seemed to draw his eyes right in her direction every single time they were in the same room. At first it seemed that would be annoying, but now he rather liked it.

"Tempting? I reckon that's a good thing?" he laughed gently, gasping slightly when he felt both her hand and her lips attacking him at one time. He forgot about what he was saying and thinking as he kissed her back, but the arms he had been leaning on gave out and he slipped backward, landing almost too-gently onto the blanket. Before he could get up, a small part of him told him to stay down there, just to see what would happen, even if he was missing Linda's lips.
