Intro Post: Remus J. Lupin
Hey kids, I'm Anna.

I just finished my first year at Northwestern University in Chicago. I'm a Classics/Art History/Political Science major who takes too many non-major courses to have any realistic expectation of graduating in four years. Usually, these are art or English classes - my favorite authors tend to be Jane Austen, Alexandre Dumas, Ovid, Vergil, Petronius, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Kurt Vonnegut, Albert Camus, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, William Faulkner, J.D. Salinger, and various other (post-)/modernists. I speak limited Italian and Norwegian, but mostly I can say things like, "Are these skis long enough?" I have plans of becoming a part-time ice cream chef in the not too distant future, because my internship doesn't pay at all.

I'm bringing you Remus Lupin, the very sweet, often intellectual but socially awkward Gryffindor with passionate feelings about grammar and literary criticism who spends too much of his time in the library. It's highly likely that, sometime during the course of your experience with him, he will a) correct your grammar via a rarely exercised usage rule that's largely defunct but still technically correct b) make an obscure literary reference that he thinks everyone will understand when, in fact, no one does or c) feel very uncomfortable in your presence for reasons undetermined.

If you need anything, my email address is anna.katherine@gmail.com, which is also what it is if you do not need anything. And my aim, since the sixth grade, is dramaqueen57575.

Looking forward to meeting you all,
-Anna

HI! I'm Dee, and I play Sirius (when Narnia hasn't eaten my head, as unfortunately happened the past couple of days - sorry for the delay in welcoming you *G*). So obviously we should talk, because what is a Sirius without his Remus? (Sad! That's what!)

Ahem. Sorry. I'm still in the process of waking up and I need my coffee. But I'm titaniafae on AIM, if you want to grab me sometime, or I'm cupiscent @ gmail if email's better.

Hey, Dee! I'm Anna. I have the sinking suspicion that we have played together once before, but I could be hallucinating. By the way, was it Aslan that ate your head, specifically? Because while the temptation to stick your head in his massive, massive mouth must be overwhelming, 9/10 doctors recommend against it.

Alright, sounds good to me! I'm usually online at dramaqueen57575 or zomgprongs, and if you see me before I see you, feel free to hit me up.

Welcome, welcome, I'm Danielle, and this is Miss Emmeline. You can find us both at fangedgeranium on AIM and Gmail/Gchat.

Apologies for the delay on my side. Emm is the Slytherin prefect; she's a little more social savvy than school smart, but she would definitely appreciate his socially awkward as charming. Look forward to playing with you!

Wow... I definitely play Xeno Lovegood as well. He's still a little too new to me, guess :) If Xeno catches on (or has already caught on) to Remus' literary genius, Remus will become his go-to person for random muggle fable or fairy tale or literary tradition facts. Beware. :)

Right, I fail. HI! I'm Amy. I play Amelia Bones and the lovely Lily Evans, who I'm guessing will know Remus pretty well! Lily pretty much thinks he's the only decent one out of the four Marauders, although she finds James and Sirius marginally less annoying than before.

I haven't been on AIM a lot lately, so email is probably the best way to go if you want to work out some background things. You can find me at shadesofsienna[at]gmail.com!

And I fail worse!

I'm very sorry I haven't gotten to this- I haven't been at home very often. I want to assure you that you haven't joined a dead game, though!

My name is Sarah, and I play Daisy Hookum. She's in Hufflepuff, but I'm sure she and Remus have had plenty of time to get to know one another over the years. She wouldn't be one to pick up on his literary references, I'm afraid, and her grammar may have become victim to his scrutiny.

Let me know if you're up for backstory!

And I fail worstest even worse!

Hi, Anna! I'm Megan, and I play Edgar Bones. I think he'd get along well with Remus. Or Remus is the sort of personality he easily feels comfortable with. :) His own literary tastes are pretty much limited to detective novels, but he's easily interested in things other people are interested in, and asks plenty of questions.

P.S. Is the job of "ice cream chef" as awesome as it sounds?
