"Valentine," Walden said, smiling at her. "She's got a little heart-shaped spot on her nose. I got her because my flat felt sort of lonely. Radley comes around a lot, but it's not really the same as sharing with someone, you know?"
He hesitated for a moment when she mentioned kissing him, then gave her a soft smile. "I'm thinking about kissing you too," he confessed. "Do you see Thoreau ever?"
