Walden laughed, watching Pyxis and the kitten with a fond smile. He wanted to kiss her again. Badly. She looked so adorable, all cuddled up to it like that. "I'll make sure she's yours," he said. "You'll have some time to come up with a good name."
He leaned forward and kissed Pyxis on the forehead, because he didn't want to interfere with her bonding to her kitten. "I knew you'd be a good match for one of them. You look good together."
