Walden wasn't sure what to do with himself for a moment, when Pyxis got in his lap. It was probably obvious though. What he should be doing, where his hands should be going.
"I've missed you," he said, voice soft, and then kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her up against his chest. He closed his eyes, relishing the way it felt to have her in his arms again.
