"Cepheus, come on." James pulled him closer, frowning down at the other boy. "I'm not a rubbish enough boyfriend to let you go cry by yourself," he whispered. "You didn't ruin my life. I was there too."
Ginny watched the two boys for a moment, then touched James's hair and kissed his forehead. "I'm going to go Floo some of my old friends in the league and see if I can salvage the situation," she said. "You two go upstairs and get some rest. The same room is fine if you leave the door open."
"Thanks, Mum," James said, giving her a tight smile. He looked down at Cepheus. "My room?" he suggested. "If we're going to be miserable we might as well be miserable in sweatpants."
