"It might be dangerous," Scorpius said, willing to give their father the benefit of the doubt. "The manor's very old. I just don't know why they wouldn't do something to fix it if that was the problem. We have enough money."
He looked around the hall to make sure there were no elves about either. "Rory would tell Dad for sure, and he'd feel obliged to tell Mum."
