Scorpius looked up at Caspar and smiled. "It's okay," he said. "Mum just got here and watching James Potter flirt with Cepheus to annoy him is plenty entertaining." He looked at Xavier over Caspar's shoulder. "Did you come to the front door?"
James laughed, relaxing a little when Pansy called him out on his behaviour. He liked the Malfoys more than he'd expected to. This one, at least." He kissed the back of Pansy's hand. "Duly noted, Pansy," he said, and then glanced at Cepheus, pulling back and wrapping an arm loosely around his shoulders. "You're going to destroy my self-confidence. If I'm not as good looking as I think I am, I must look very out of place next to you."
"Here," Draco said, walking into the room. "Your mother had to pull me away from some last minute paperwork. Are we ready for dinner?" He stopped and looked at the two boys standing by his sons, then glanced at Pansy. The good looking one looked a little familiar, but he seemed too... put together to be Cepheus's date, and the other boy was a bit... Scorpius usually brought someone more Pansy's type to these things.
