Albus stared at Scorpius for a moment, listening to every word he said and playing it back in his mind. He wanted that. He wanted that for Scorpius. And in that moment, he wanted that with Scorpius. He hesitated for a moment, then crawled into Scorpius's lap.
Leaning in, Albus brushed their lips together softly. "I love you." He whispered, waiting for Scorpius to push him away.
