Scorpius was surprised by the kiss, although he wasn't sure why. It seemed like the whole morning had been leading up to this now. He looked at Albus for a moment, after he told him he loved him, and then wrapped his arms around the other boy and pulled him closer, kissing him back.
He closed his eyes, making a soft sound against the other boy's lips, and then pulled back just a little, looking into his eyes. "I love you too."
