James didn't think he was stupid. He frowned at Cepheus. "Has anyone ever told you you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar?" he asked. "I know you asked Albus. He told me he said no because of his boyfriend. As far as I knew, you were just going for the next best thing."
He felt like shaking Cepheus until he started making sense. "You have so much fucking Slytherin in you that it's insane you're not one of them. All you have to do is say what you mean."
