I’ve got to pick something up, and it would do to have a second opinion on the matter.” The ice cream parlour was just up the street and, even if you didn’t know where it was, quite easy to find. Just follow the parade of bouncy children dragging adults behind them that were too tired to protest a huge scoop of double chocolate fudge, and could do with one themselves anyway.
“And if you haven’t eaten, perhaps you ought to get something really big? In a waffle cone. That’d be practically breakfast, right?”
