Re: Melia/Gray - Break Up: Saturday, 10PM
She turned away from him when he reached out to wipe the tears that were on her cheeks. The thought of him touching her after what he'd been doing made her stomach churn in disgust.

"Don't touch me," she commanded firmly but quietly. "You are never touching me again."

Her head began to shake when he tried to explain his actions. She didn't believe him. She didn't believe that he was sorry for what he'd done. She didn't believe that it would never happen again. Her mother had cheated on her father, after all. She'd destroyed their family. She didn't want to be with someone like that.

"You should… you should just go get caught up in those feelings again. I'm… I'm going home. I shouldn't have snuck out in the first place… not for you."

Her eyes narrowed when he told her that he loved her… that she knew he loved her.

"I thought I knew that," she responded coldly. "I was wrong. You love anyone that will give you what you want… what I wouldn't give you."

Pulling his hand away from her, Gray frowned further.  This was going to be harder to get out of then he thought.  "Baby... I only want to get caught up in them with you.  You're all I want."

Her cold words only served to piss him off. How dare she not believe him when he said he loved her?  Maybe on some level he did, but he didn't know that.  He had just said it to get into her pants, but she didn't need to know that either.

"You think I just said that?  You really think that?  You think I just go around saying that to anyone?  Sorry to break it to you, sweetheart.  Guys don't just say they love someone if they don't really mean it.  No guy drops the L-word that easily."

As far as Melia was concerned, there was no way for him to get out of the trouble that he was in. He had cheated on her. She wasn't going to be with a cheater.

"Actions speak louder than words," she spat, when it became obvious that he was angry with her. "If you really loved me, you wouldn't have been doing that." She gestured at the other girl when she spoke the last word.

Her eyes were still filled with tears, but she tried to drawn strength from the seed of anger that was sitting in the pit of her stomach. If she could focus on that feeling, she could get through this without completely falling apart. She loved him, after all. She hadn't just said it. She'd meant it.

If she was going to be angry, then so was he.  "Exactly Melia.  You said you loved me.  If you really loved me you would have been the one doing that with me.  I wouldn't have needed to find someone else."

Stepping back, he crossed his arms over his chest.  It was obvious that they were over, so might as well make her feel worse.  "You think it was easy going home with an erection that wouldn't go away?  You think I liked having blue balls and having to take cold showers to cure it?  No.  It wasn't.  She wasn't the first girl I cheated on you with.  I needed someone to help me out when my girlfriend, the girl who supposedly loved me, wouldn't."

Her mouth opened and closed several times as she searched for a reply. Before she could find one, though, he'd taken a step back and crossed his arms over his chest. Her eyes filled with tears as he tore at her with his words, and when he finally fell silent, she shook her head in protest. It hadn't been… she had…

"I… I did things for you, Gray," she finally answered. "I… you know I did. I didn't do that, but I did other things. It wasn't like I was selfish. It wasn't like I didn't give you any… relief."

She felt like an idiot for trusting him… for believing that he loved her. That was why she'd done the things that she'd done, after all. She hadn't been ready to do those things, but she'd wanted desperately to make him happy because he loved her.
